I used it on a decoder that only had scart, with a TV that only had HDMI. The quality doesn't change, which is logical.
And I didn't know that it requires 2 HDMI cables. So you need 1 scart cable and 2 HDMI cables.
I'm talking about the conversion, from SCART to HDMI.
The photo that exists for this product is reversed, from HDMI to SCART. So be careful what you will order
