Additionally, you cannot program it to switch to a specific channel during a specific show. This is either because it rarely shows more than 2 consecutive shows, or even if it does, when you try to program it, it gives a strange notification, and... it's a mess!

Compared to a MAXT2018 that I had bought a few months ago, it falls short in many aspects!
1- It does not have Greek EPG on Digea channels (STAR/ALPHA/ANT1, etc.)
2- Very slow in channel switching.
3- It does not have a sensitive good signal TUNER, resulting in poor signal quality.
4- Very mediocre remote control.

However, the image freezes when changing channels, the remote control is small and doesn't always work (tested with new batteries as well). I recommend it for old TVs with an RCA connection because it doesn't have SCART but only RCA and HDMI, which I recommend and prefer.

The RCA (audio-video) cable that comes with the package is just there to exist. It comes with a Greek menu, in fact, it is the same as the Legent HD. I tried different types of audio and video files and it played them fine, even with srt subtitles, it worked well. It even played recordings from another receiver (Legent HD). It is a good purchase for its price!

The 2 OEM 78524 have weak signal on ERT channels, although they have the DIGEA signal in Kavala for the garbage, especially for ERT. But I only write about adventures from private channels.
I put in 1 Terabyte and it played fine.
ERT broadcasts the EPG in Greek, while private channels broadcast in English+Greek, that's why many decoders, because their first language is English, broadcast the EPG of private channels in English. If the DIGEA is upgraded, the OEM 78524 will be perfect!!!Translated from Greek ·- Image Quality

The most annoying thing is that it doesn't have a Greek menu and therefore it doesn't "read" the program on the channels and you can't see the "info" on the program you're watching.

I have had many devices of this type (Funai, Legent, Crypto, Edision, Osio) pass through my hands as I installed them for relatives, grandparents, etc. during the digital transition. I want to note that the device I received had a complete Greek menu and EPG. Obviously, the other users received it with older software. The outputs include RCA white-red for audio and yellow for video, thus covering the absence of SCART. Personally, even if it had SCART, I would still prefer RCA as it is a much better connection. Overall, I believe the device is well worth its price.
Positives: Installation, the easiest I have encountered. Channel switching is fast. The reported image freezing is minimal and completely normal, and definitely not bothersome. The remote control is very good and can be operated from blind spots many times. It is the best remote control I have encountered for these devices, as most require precise aiming and are annoying. That is not an issue here. The build quality is impeccable.
Negatives: The PVR, although good, requires you to enter a separate menu to activate it. Most receivers on the market allow you to schedule recordings from the current channel based on the EPG. This is not possible here, and you have to manually enter both the channel and the recording time. While the installation of the device is flawless, the sorting is lacking. Like most people, I assign ERT1, ERT2, and ERT3 to channels 1, 2, and 3 respectively. Unfortunately, even though the sorting is done as you specify, if you press 1 on the remote control, ERT1 will not appear but the channel with PID number 1 will, which in my area is ALPHA. This is particularly annoying, and I still can't get used to it.
Neutral: The size is twice as big compared to most receivers on the market. The appearance of the device is exactly as shown in the photo here, but the digital display, as seen in the photo, is completely different and has a green color with "bold" font. I would prefer the display shown in the photo as it is very beautiful and elegant, but it's not a big deal. As for more "tech-savvy" users, the movie player does not support files compressed with the Advanced L5 image codec, and there is no sound in files with variable bitrate audio. It is good to check the file with Media Info on the computer before inserting the USB stick to avoid disappointment and frustration.

Negative comments: The front USB port does NOT work, it does NOT have SCART (no problem since it has HDMI and RCA for audio in red and white, and yellow for video) and the subtitles only have three sizes (I would like something between Large and Normal).

The information for the TV programs is in English - surprisingly, Greek is not supported (even though the entire menu is in Greek). The photo of the listing has nothing to do with the product: the screen is an old type LCD with minimal characters and there is also a fake card slot (there is nothing inside the device...).
Attention, it does not have a scart output (it does have HDMI, USB, and RGB instead of scart).
