Although I recently started playing, it is never too late for someone to play a Pokemon game, which means that this particular game has incredible longevity
It is something different with fresh ideas and gameplay, it has many new things and obviously new Pokémon and of course a new region, BUT many of the things you do are pointless or just filler to have something to do in case you're not battling, I think it is aimed at younger ages and not those who grew up with Pokémon. I would recommend it to someone who has never played Pokémon before because it is easy and anyone can start it. However, if you are looking for the classic Pokémon experience on 3DS, I would recommend Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire as they are faithful to the classic recipe
The story was very nice and quite different compared to the classic usual stories of previous generations, the new badge system was quite interesting, quite a few of the new Pokemon were nice (and some very bad, but no generation is perfect), nice music. Overall, it was a very good Pokemon game.
The only downside I can think of is that the story was a bit boring somewhere in the middle (2nd or 3rd island) and that it was quite easy as a game, but this applies to all the Pokemon games that have been released on the 3DS.
The last Pokemon cassette I played was black, and I admit that I got bored with my life. With Moon, I didn't get bored for a moment. Very nice graphics reminiscent of the anime, a lively world. For example, I noticed that when I reached the last island, you could see Pelipper flying in the background. The story was so-so, it wasn't anything different from other Pokemon cassettes, although I believe they took the weight off becoming a champion in something else (no spoil). Two things bothered me.
1. They have significantly reduced the difficulty. From the point where you would come out of a cave and search for a Pokemon Center like a lost person in the desert searching for an oasis, in other cassettes, an uncle would jump out and wipe out your team. Now they heal you as soon as you walk 15 cm.
2. The National Pokedex is missing.
Very good game! It has refreshed the Pokemon. It was a very pleasant surprise and after 60 hours of gameplay, I am still not bored.
Great upgrade compared to previous titles and in combination with the large dose of nostalgia (due to the many Pokemon from the 1st generation), it is one of the best titles for 2016.
Finally, after so many years, not just any Pokémon game is released, but a new generation! Hundreds of Pokémon to catch, a brand new map with the best possible 3D graphics... Congratulations Nintendo! I highly recommend it to new and old fans, as it is a great way to start the journey if not yet. Excuse me now, but I have to catch them all!
