With DoubleBridge, you can combine two cooking zones into two different cooking areas. Ideal for accommodating cookware of various sizes, the function also aligns temperature and time settings for maximum flexibility in the kitchen.
The user interface of the Direct Touch controls uses intuitive numbers 1-14, so you can set the correct temperature immediately without having to switch to plus and minus buttons.
No more waiting for the water to boil in the pot. The PowerBoost function gives you instant heat power, boiling water in less than 90 seconds. It's perfect for tasks like quickly boiling a large pot of water.
The built-in cooktop timer can be set for up to one hour and will automatically turn off the cooktop when the time elapses. For precise results without effort.
The child safety lock ensures that the cooktop settings will not be accidentally changed. This way, you can use the cooktop safely when your children are around.
Its operation is independent, meaning it can function on its own without the need for connection to an oven. This means it can be placed anywhere in the kitchen that suits you best. It is suitable for combination with an above-counter oven, as the oven can be placed anywhere, regardless of the cooktop.
In induction cooktops, the cooking surface heats only under the cookware, using less than half the energy compared to standard cooktops. Cooking on an induction cooktop provides faster heating, improved thermal efficiency, and more precise control. Compared to conventional electric cooktops, induction cooktops can even halve the cooking time while consuming significantly less energy.
Induction cooktops are known for their extremely easy cleaning, as they only require a wipe with a damp cloth. Since only the cookware heats up, any spills on the cooktop surface do not burn.
Visually, the induction cooktop looks very similar to the ceramic one, but it uses electromagnetism instead of electricity. For this reason, special cookware with a magnetic base is required.

I bought it mainly because it is made in Germany. It doesn't buzz at all like other induction cooktops, just a little in the first few seconds of operation. Very powerful, over 7000W, not like the majority of devices that are 4500-5000W. Beautiful device with a slightly inconvenient touch control. It has a temperature indicator when you turn it off to avoid burns, even though it cools down literally in a minute. It requires at least a 8-10cm diameter pot to recognize it and activate.
First time I acquire an induction hob, after using ceramic hobs for several years. In short, its main advantage is the cooking speed. In the turbo program with the indication P, the water boils almost at the level of a kettle. The switch between the hobs is done in seconds. Cleaning is easy. There is also an audible notification when objects are placed on the hobs and when they are closed. Additionally, it has the ability to use two hobs simultaneously for long and narrow cookware, although I haven't needed to use it yet. In conclusion, I am satisfied with the purchase and I consider the price reasonable for its features. I also confirm based on the product information leaflet of AEG company that the country of manufacture is Germany. I combined this hob with an oven from the same company and so far I have no complaints.
Induction hobs of high quality and made in Germany...!
They are divided into 2 zones:
1. In total, there are 4 hobs that all support cookware up to 28 cm (base 22 cm).
2. Bridging function where the hobs merge into one zone to support a grill for meat or a cast iron grill or a long gastronome. Practically, they support all induction cookware regardless of shape.
3. Power function in all hobs.
4. Quiet and fast.
5. Automatic shutdown when the cookware is removed.
6. Child lock function.
7. Easy cleaning.
