The SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W 16.5 cm 2-Way Coaxial speaker series is designed to efficiently utilize the power of Alpine's Marine head units.

Equipped with a PEI balanced dome tweeter and Poly/Mica Woofer Cone, the SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W speakers provide clear highs including balanced mid/bass performance. The chrome-plated grilles and durable, non-resonant ABS frames provide long-lasting durability and UV protection from yellowing. For high-quality frequency response and excellent resistance to moisture, oil, heat, and chemicals, the speakers are surrounded by Santoprene. All Alpine Marine speakers offer excellent protection from outdoor environmental conditions.

These speakers are built to last, using state-of-the-art materials suitable for marine applications. They are designed to operate optimally in an unrestricted setup, achieving the best possible sound performance without the need for an enclosed space.

They are ready for marine challenges, with maximum resistance to salt/fog and UV, as well as level 5 water resistance.

Available in two models: the 16.5 cm SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W and the 17.8 cm SPR-M700 for maximum installation flexibility.

All Alpine Marine speakers are designed to work with PDX Marine amplifiers for maximum system-building capability, offering the best possible sound quality.

The grille design with hidden screws and the included waterproof installation seal allow for a clean and leak-free installation. All parts are resistant to corrosion from saltwater. The speakers also feature magnetic shielding to prevent interference from other marine electronic devices.

The SPR-M700 tweeters and the PEI balanced tweeters of the SPS-M601 / SPS-M601W are designed for maximum high-frequency sound projection in a marine environment.
