I have had it for about 2 years and I am satisfied with the shaving it provides!! I have coarse hair and I do not have any irritations!! The only downside is that it has few and small blades!! The plus point I give it is that the replacements are cheap and easy to find!!
For a close shave, it definitely doesn't do the job. Traditional razors, disposable razors, and electric shavers are better. I think it's more suitable for those who want a well-groomed "two-day" beard and above.
On the positive side, it is practical for a quick touch-up and corrections.
On the negative side, it leaves hair all over the place because it doesn't collect them like a classic electric shaver. Also, the expensive replacement parts, which I believe is the company's goal, to make you buy replacement parts.
Well, the 40 euros I spent were worth it and then some. It never clogs, it's really for the whole body, and it gives a good deep shave. Of course, I should mention that it doesn't compare to regular shaving with a razor in any way, just like no electric shaver does, so don't expect that.
I have had it for 1.5 years and I only use it for my face and a little on the upper part of my chest... the machine is top-notch, I haven't even changed the second head that comes in the package... for people who shave twice a week, it is the best, and the battery lasts for at least 30 shaves
For up to 30€, it's good, I give it 4 stars. It was mainly used to avoid irritation from shaving with a razor. I would get a close shave without irritation and razor bumps. It was purchased in the summer of '19 and after about 2 years, the battery started to run out faster and now it only lasts for one shave. Each razor costs about 17€ but lasts a long time.
Unfortunately, I am not at all satisfied. Initially, it requires relatively frequent blade changes which are expensive, and also from the very first moment, the head-blade easily comes off its position. I believe it is suitable for "secondary" shaving (neck details, etc.) or for someone who does not have much facial hair. Overall, a poor choice for frequent shaving.
Flawless machine, you can't even cut yourself even if you try on purpose and since I don't have many generations, I use the same blade for over half a year and I still don't need to change it because it still works very satisfactorily! The shaving is similar to a razor, I would recommend it even to someone who is going to serve in the air force or navy (for military service, it's better not to play with one's luck)
I have used several electric razors in the past, but this one is by far the best. I tried it after a friend's recommendation and I have to say that it is as close to a razor as it gets without irritating the skin.
I have been using it for over a year and I am completely satisfied. It shaves very well (leaves a little bit before the razor), it is not a shaver, it is a trimmer. Also, the adjustable settings for the length of the beard are very convenient. It cleans very well and the neck and chin. It is easy to clean as it is waterproof and can be washed with water.
I give it 4 stars only because the replacement parts (heads) are expensive.
It is definitely worth the money!
In one week, the head fell and broke, as you can see in the photos below. It didn't fall on the floor but in the sink, from a height of no more than 30-35cm. You could die from how fake-plastic it is..!
I wouldn't recommend you to go for this Philips series, no matter how tempting it may seem. The Philips BG7025/15 or BG7025/15 are better in terms of quality and durability over time. I have also left a detailed review in the last one for anyone interested.
I bought it after my Gillette razor broke. Through this razor, I understood what shaving really means. Much faster than the previous one, it cleans much easier and doesn't clog, and the shaving is satisfactorily deep... I would say comparable to a razor.
The only negative thing is the irritation that occurs on the neck, it might also cut a little. So, it requires slow and steady movements and under no circumstances fast and abrupt ones because the burning sensation you will feel afterwards is very intense. (I emphasize!!! These negatives only apply to the neck... never to the face.)
If the razors lasted longer, it would be the best... Shaving one click before the blade without irritation and quickly without water and soap... The company's quarterly claim is for two shaves per week, so for me, who shaves every other day, it doesn't last for two months... If you exclude the cost per razor, which when you find a deal is at least 10 euros, it's perfect for that and four stars, otherwise it would be five...
Average and 3 stars as it cleans deeply but after 5 months of use, its performance has significantly decreased and it requires multiple passes to remove all the hair from the body. Additionally, it has a small head and requires several passes to cover a large surface area. The battery lasts for 2 body shaves.
A reliable razor especially for cleaning areas like the neck. Very good indeed if you have sensitive skin that easily gets irritated by ingrown hairs that penetrate the skin and require daily shaving
Very good razor.
For a better experience, combine it with a mirror
that suctions to the bathroom window and is very cheap from the well-known big toy store so that the hairs do not fall down.
I have had it for a month and previously I had the brown 300s and the Panasonic RT37. I can say that it shaves better than the two I had, it just has one disadvantage that it throws the hairs in the sink and on your clothes, which bothers me a little. Apart from that, it is excellent.
Overall, a good machine that really shaves deeply, it just requires 2-3 passes! Each shave takes more time compared to a razor, but if someone doesn't have a problem with that, then they get both a deep shave and no irritation. It's just not worth buying the more expensive versions, I believe it's worth up to €30.
It does not shave like a razor, it irritates the skin (especially on the neck), it is only good for attaching the combs that come as accessories if you want to keep a few days' worth of beard or a very short mustache.
The price of it is great. I have had it for 3 months, I shave twice a week and the battery still hasn't run out from the first charge. It shaves in a short amount of time like a razor (not against the grain). The only negative is the cost of the replacements. One replacement blade costs about 14 euros and lasts for about 20-25 shaves.
It is a value for money shaving machine that does its job quickly and effectively. It also comes with a spare head, so its price is almost free. As for irritations... if someone gets irritated with a razor, they are likely to get irritated with this one too, unless they don't have a problem. For me, it is simply a quick and easy solution to not look unshaven. The result after using it is like you shaved normally and not "against the grain". Its battery lasts a long time and the size is smaller than expected. It is an ideal choice for trips, vacations, etc., so you don't have to carry razors, foam, and aftershave.
It actually provides a close shave without causing irritation and comfortably competes with common razors (I don't have very coarse facial hair). For trimming, it may not be the most suitable option, considering that the combs it has do a fairly short trimming.
As for the negatives, of course, the cost of its replacements is a downside, as they cost almost as much as a new machine...
Quite good shaving so far (I've had it for 4 months). It clogs somewhere in the middle of shaving, but maybe it's because I don't shave very often and they have time to grow. I haven't measured the battery, but it lasts for many shaves. Also, although it is powerful, it needs a touch-up to do a good job. Overall, though, considering the money you spend, it is a very good purchase.
Only for shaving. It does not work for beards and trimming of length 3+mm. The attachments constantly get clogged and because it has very small gaps between the teeth, it cannot catch thicker or longer beards to cut them. And you have to go over each spot 2 or 3 times. Something that takes 5 minutes with another machine takes half an hour. It is not powerful enough and it takes a long time to charge. For anything other than shaving without attachments, it is a waste of money.
The best machine I have bought so far for a close shave. It doesn't give as close a shave as a traditional razor, but it does the closest it can without irritation. I have been using it for over two years and I am completely satisfied.
Occasionally, I also use the Kemei 1910 when I want to have the look of a clean shave. But otherwise, they can't be compared. Now, regarding the Philips OneBlade, its battery lasts for many shaves and I don't see a reason for someone to buy the more expensive versions of the same machine, as they all use the same blade/attachment (so you will have the same result). The more expensive versions have a larger battery, and some versions also have an indication of remaining shaving minutes. However, even without the indication, you can tell when it needs charging, as its performance gradually decreases. The only negative aspect is the price of the replacement blades, which in the best case scenario cost around 10 euros each (I have found a pack of three on offer for 30 euros with shipping). On the other hand, each blade definitely lasts for 2-3 months, so it's okay.
It is the best thing after classic shaving with foam and without the irritations that electric razors, which I have tried from time to time, cause me. It is like a trimmer with very close proximity to the skin. You achieve a closer shave by going against the direction of the hair. It is worth noting that I do not have curly facial hair and I do not have strange ingrown hairs that might have made the result less successful. Everyone will need some basic familiarization with 2-3 shaves. I have been using it twice a week for 7 months and I have not yet changed the head.
If you shave for 5 minutes every 2 days, the machine will leave you with a decent shave. I don't know how convenient it would be for someone who needs to shave every day.
