I took a long time to discover it, I am a recent gamer and I am gradually discovering the gems of gaming!
Dishonored 2 impressed me, very sophisticated, unique with decisions that you make and shape the evolution of the game! Amazing music and gameplay. The story is quite interesting! I found it on sale for only 1.99€ on the Store and it is definitely worth it.
Although I haven't played the first game in the series, I can say that the second part as a general game experience is good, but...
And the but has to do with two things... the first being that it is quite difficult to find things within each level, and the second with the gameplay...
The gameplay was quite challenging for me, I must say, at the beginning. I would have liked it to be like Horizon Zero or like Days Gone...
Overall, it is a good game that can still hold up even today.
Nice story but small in size game - for someone who is starting to play now it is good, for more experienced players they will get bored (about 15-20 hours)
A must buy for anyone who likes stealth games, although the story is nothing extraordinary, the gameplay is fantastic. I'm on my second playthrough and every time you play it, you discover new things. Overall, it doesn't get boring easily and for its price, it would be a shame for someone who likes this genre of games not to buy it
Positives
+ Freedom of approach to missions [with 4 different ways]
+ Amazing mechanics and addictive combat system
+ Different level design
+ Fantastic art direction
+ Huge replayability and satisfying duration
Although there are better options available, for its price, it is objectively a nice game, and despite having a short duration, the storytelling and overall setting are well-crafted. In contrast to other games, it makes you think and play more strategically to progress. I finished it in 11 hours, but I highly recommend it. It also has a great soundtrack. However, the graphics are just okay
Continuing the story several years after the events of Dishonored: Definitive Edition, this stealth/action gem continues to excel in all the good aspects of the first game, including graphics, plot, gameplay, and characters. This time, you have the option to play as either Corvo Attano or Emily Caldwin. Some musical pieces are simply wonderful (such as the ones from the musical duo you encounter in 3 chapters or even in the end credits). You can continue and choose to play either stealthily or by killing everyone, and each choice has its impact on the story. You meet some old characters as well as some new ones. The story, as a blend, is very nice, and there are no technical issues anymore - at least I didn't encounter any since December 2017 when I finished it. The AI of the enemies has improved even on lower difficulty levels, and there is now more meaning to playing the story twice due to the two heroes. Additionally, Emily's and Corvo's powers differ, as well as the tone they give to the story depending on whom you choose to play. It continues to be addictive as a game, and you get hooked on playing it for hours, just like the first one, which still holds the crown because it was the first to immerse us in this magical world. A must for fans of the genre.
Many glitches (e.g. falling through the floor, problematic shading on faces, issues with crashes, etc.)
Nevertheless, this is a very good game, and precisely because I know that it receives updates, I believe that most of the issues it had will have been resolved by now.
Wonderful game and amazing experience for those who have patience and perseverance to play such a demanding gaming. Beautiful graphics, stunning sound, and unparalleled gameplay. Magically crafted and inspired, it absorbs you every minute and with every step you take, with its incredible atmosphere.
Although the first Dishonored is by far better, I really enjoyed Dishonored 2. The story is very interesting as you can change it in some points, and the gameplay is quite nice with easy controls. Definitely worth it.
A very good game with incredible immersion and stunning art.
The battle system, powers, and weapons at your disposal are exceptional and can be used in various ways.
My only objection to the game is that it "pushes" you to play without killing, which limits you and forces you to only see a specific part of the gameplay. However, there is the possibility for a new playthrough (which makes more sense compared to the first game in the series since there are two available characters) and for a new game plus.
