It makes good coffee and heats up in 2 minutes. After 3.5 years and about 20,000 coffees, a part broke and needed replacement. The machine was purchased for €120 and the replacement part cost €80, which is unacceptable as a pricing policy. I have no opinion on the milk frother since I didn't use it. I don't know if I would buy it again.
I had it for 4 years, every day 4 to 5 coffees for its money not only worth it but more... and relax a bit, you give 100 euros don't expect it to cook for you too...
Monumental cappuccino.
Coffee equivalent to much more expensive machines.
It's ridiculous to expect the build quality of a €500 coffee machine from a café that costs €100-200. Let's get serious.
It is a very good choice and I would definitely recommend it for purchase!!!
Other brands' machines, more expensive and well-known, do not make such good coffee!!!
I have had this product for 2 years now and it still works perfectly! Good value for money!
The machine makes okay coffee, but that's about it. If someone wants to try making Freddo Espresso on their own and doesn't want to spend a lot of money, it's an option. However, I don't believe that other machines at the same price will be inferior. Generally, you get what you pay for. I realized this as soon as I upgraded to the Delonghi Dedica, which is clearly superior.
I have it for some years now and it's worth it. It hasn't given me any trouble. And it makes great coffee. This purchase is worth it.
We have had it for about 8-9 years as my mother had opened a café in the neighborhood and made some coffees. For the past 4 years, it has been at home for personal use with 3 coffees daily. I won't complain about the taste of the coffee because maybe the brand we buy is also responsible, etc., but I am disappointed with the nozzle as it doesn't froth milk well. Also, a negative aspect for me is that it is semi-automatic. As a person with some experience as a barista, it doesn't suit me particularly. HOWEVER, considering its price and the number of years it has lasted, during which it has only broken once and we were able to fix it (it hasn't had any other issues), I think it's worth it. However, as a lover of lattes and cappuccinos, since I am in my student years, I will change it.
I have had it for two years, before I had the one with 15 bars, but I changed it to have better performance and not have this strong vibration during use. Indeed, the vibration has been minimized, the coffee comes out much better, I have never used the nozzle so I have no opinion. A very big drawback is that it needs to be cleaned very frequently with the special liquid found in supermarkets. And when I say frequent, I mean every two to three months, depending on the hardness of the water in your area. Otherwise, its price is very good for the quality of the coffee it produces.
The worst coffee maker I have ever bought. After one year of use, I tried to unscrew the screw and unclog the filter because, for some unknown reason, it got clogged and simply cannot be fixed. There is no tool for this job. Maintenance is very difficult. Stay away
Suddenly one day the nozzle stopped working, it needs a 2-hour cleaning every three times and it definitely wakes up the neighbor with its noise.
I have bought the same product twice after a year of use it malfunctions, it doesn't work properly. I do not recommend it. The second time I changed it because it was still under warranty and the new one broke again. Stay away!!
After 3 years and daily use, a small problem arose simply because I had never cleaned it. I cleaned it and it's like new again. It's worth the money.
EDIT: 6 years after the purchase and it still works like at the beginning, and the use is daily. I got it for 80 euros and the coffee it makes is top!
Very mediocre
After two months of use, the coffee smells like plastic
I bought it just before the quarantine around the end of '19, the first impression was very good, it makes excellent coffee, with a very nice and rich foam. As for its nozzle for frothing milk, it is exceptional and if you know how to froth milk, you can do it easily and quickly. It is very easy to clean, from the main component to the depth. A small drawback is that the two containers for the coffee come out very easily and if you are not used to the handle it has, when you try to remove the coffee residue, it also comes out. However, it is also an advantage for cleanliness purposes. In terms of construction, it is very good for its price. After countless uses, it continues to make delicious coffees. I believe there is no better device for this price. Buy it!
It was purchased in November 2018 and has been used on average for 2 coffees per day since then. Very nice design and quality materials. It makes great coffee and very good frothed milk, which of course took some time to achieve as I wanted (it's not professional). It also makes a very nice Nespresso with the nozzle. Without much attention to maintenance, it is in perfect condition. The closures have lost their shine after my own mistake (I put them in the dishwasher). The negatives are the intense noise when it is working and the fact that when you use the nozzle at first, while the light stops blinking and shows ready, as soon as the hot air comes out after a few seconds, it starts blinking again and you have to wait until it is ready again to produce good frothed milk, hence the 4 stars. In summary, the device is value for money!
I bought it about 5 years ago. It now has some leaks due to extensive use and I will replace it with another one. I can say it was worth the money and more! I have made countless coffees and I am quite satisfied. It is not difficult to use and if you buy good blend, you can drink very good coffee. With careful use and regular cleaning (about once a month), it can last a long time and recover its cost. Generally, I don't drink a lot of hot cappuccino, so I haven't used the nozzle for making hot froth enough, but every time I have tried it, it has produced satisfactory results. So, by changing it and considering how many coffees I have had from it, I wanted to give a positive feedback to anyone who wants to try it as an economical and good solution for a decent homemade freddo.
P.S. It makes quite a noise, but for me, that's not even a problem, unless you have a strange roommate
The most important thing is that the water in the container at the back SMELLS incredibly after a while. The plastic is unacceptable, it should have been glass.
The burning is mediocre to bad. The frothing nozzle is not even CLOSE.
While it makes good coffee, it is poorly made. I bought it as a second one for my parents' house to make 10 coffees a month and it didn't last even 1.5 years. Luckily, it was within the two-year warranty and I got my money back.
I have had it for a year now!!!
I am not satisfied at all because every time I make coffee, I have to clean up the water that leaks from the container
I bought the machine a year ago. For its price, it is excellent. Without having experience with other machines, I consider it easy to use and it makes quality coffee with a rich crema. It heats up easily, with normal noise while operating (like a capsule machine for those who know). By the way, no comparison to capsule coffee!
So I have had the machine in my hands for a month and I make coffee 2-3 times a day. It is my third home machine. While before the first use I cleaned it properly as I should, etc. EVERY TIME to make coffee, I have to wash the water tank with soap, rinse it, fill it with water, and put the machine without the group running all the water until it finishes all because it smells like plastic. Unbearable plastic smell so intense that not only can you not make coffee but you think it's dead and something is inside. And all this stench passes from the tank into the machine and then into the coffee. And after all this, I make a coffee. Which it makes relatively quickly, with a moderate burn. The nozzle on the other hand is very weak. It doesn't give me the confidence to make a very good milk froth even though I use the right milk (full and only lasting) and I am also a professional.
14/6/21 Very good machine, average coffee and worth its money. I have had it for 3 years... the only issue is that 15 bar is too little. And it drips water until it heats up.
I have the 15bar for 6-7 years? Don't expect café-quality results for 80 euros. However, it does its job flawlessly. If you know how to grind and brew coffee according to its preferences - don't buy pre-ground coffee - it produces very good results. The frothed milk is so-so, it doesn't have good pressure. Also, only use filtered water and you won't have any issues with minerals.
After several tests, I managed to make good coffee, similar to the one you buy from good coffee shops. That's why it's worth it compared to capsule machines. Now, as for the frothed milk, I'm still experimenting, it mostly comes out as regular milk.
Other disadvantages: Yes, it occasionally leaks water, as some people have mentioned. The buttons are of very poor quality and I don't know how long they will last, it's a shame to put such low-quality buttons on such a good machine.
But up until now, the essence is that it makes good coffee, functions as it should, and is relatively user-friendly for such a machine. Therefore, it's worth its money.
I had it for two years. It lasted until it literally broke! Let's start from the beginning. It's good for espresso, but it lacks in other aspects. Frothing milk is difficult, the nozzle is very weak, and it takes a long time for the hot water to finish. Cleaning is a nightmare and it makes a mess in the kitchen for just one espresso. Overall, it's very mediocre even for its price. And for an amateur user, making a cup of coffee becomes a struggle. There are other machines much better for just ten euros more. That's why when it broke, I didn't choose it again.
