The Fluke 279FC/iFLEX is a frontline troubleshooting tool for electrical equipment that can check hot spots in high-voltage equipment and transformers from a safe distance, detects heating of fuses, wires, insulators, connectors, joints, and switches.
Scanning with the built-in thermal camera of the 279FC reveals many electrical issues quickly and from a safe distance. 

With the Fluke Connect™ family of instruments, you place the instruments and FLUKE-CONECT-logo close to "live" power sources, ensuring maximum safety by performing remote measurements up to 20m with absolute accuracy. Measurements that you see in real-time on your multimeter screen and/or on your mobile or Tablet (iOS-Android). Additionally, you can share the measurements at that moment with your colleagues via the ShareLive™ video call and save them to your Fluke Connect™ (cloud type) account with absolute security. Finally, with the use of the PC3000FC Adapter accessory, you can connect the Fluke Connect™ instruments directly to your computer (Windows XP or later versions).
