For the reference, I'm ~160 cm tall and weigh ~110 KG and I bought the one with 3 steps. I never had balance issues climbing up or down on it. The wide space of each step makes it very easy to stand with both feet inside the step, which I find crucial for safety as I tend to slip off of a normal ladder. It has a metal hook on the top step that stabilizes it in the open position very securely. Also very easy to open and fold, and very lightweight and compact and can be stored in a small area behind a closet or next to the fridge.
I'd recommend that you get the one with 4 steps if you're as tall as I am, because I still find some stuff out of reach and feel like I'd need one extra step in many cases.Did you find this review helpful?+ Quite stable.
