Friendship, gratitude, and ambition towards this God, who appears not as an ecstatic and indifferent "motionless mover", but as the, according to Cavafy, "dwelling of human desires", transforms the entire universe into a co-active community of dialogical reciprocity - the surprise of a meeting that surpasses the boldest dreams of any human philosophy, as it is outlined in the words and works of the participants in the ecclesiastical event, both ancient and modern. A meeting that, even amidst the fluctuations and tremors of human volition, movingly testifies to the truth of the already beginning "within us" Kingdom, which joyfully reflects within us the reality of the Church, the History of God's love.
