Good lens without much fuss... the KIT lenses are misunderstood. If someone finds it for 40 euros since the place is flooded with it as it is offered at the price of a KIT essentially for free, it does its job just fine, for hobbies, etc. Otherwise, go straight to the 18-105 and be done with it.

If it is to be compared with the lens of a mobile phone or any compact one for 100 euros, then yes, it is better. If it is for serious things, meaning if you are going to do a job to make some money, the lens is not worth it or it will drive you crazy every time you have to make corrections. It produces noise even at 400 ISO. I don't understand, so to avoid noise, does the ISO have to reach 100...???? As an image, it did not satisfy me, mediocre quality.
