I had bought an M705 mouse and I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my work computer. Very nice feel, precision in clicking and the battery....lasts for sooo long!
If you have other Bluetooth devices like a USB receiver, just get something else!!!
It's like it follows its own path and gets stuck terribly and unbelievably many times!!!
If you close any other Bluetooth, then it works fine...
As for the famous "wheel", it doesn't stay in one place...
Even when you press hello to go 1 + 1 up or down, half the time nothing moves!!!
Bad that I didn't send it back...
After 1.5 years of daily use, the plastic on the right and left sides has come off. I had a similar mouse in the past that had lasted much longer, so I think the build quality has significantly decreased.
If the master doesn't suit you due to its size, then the m705 marathon is the next best thing. I have 2 of the same bought years ago and when I'm not at my desk, I use them without any problem. A beast of durability, very convenient the button that adjusts scrolling to continuous or step-by-step, very useful the 2 side buttons, which depending on the software help a little or a lot. In general, an excellent purchase, which complements perfectly the Logi MX keys mini keyboard.
Nice mouse. It's a little small for me but I will get used to it. However, it lags in operation. The cursor is slow as I move it on the screen, resulting in me having to lift the mouse and secondly it lacks a bit in accuracy and doesn't help with detail. Otherwise, it's a good device
Decent for its cost (~35€). Quality materials, it is relatively heavy but precise, there are no connection problems and its battery lasts for a long time. Overall, it is suitable for everyday simple use, as it is easily portable and durable. I recommend it!
black crap, it's heavy, the wheel makes noise on the tiles, I wouldn't buy it again, every time I bought based on the comments I messed up, I wonder if you have any idea what you're buying
With its pros and cons.
Certainly, it is not silent, the top buttons are annoyingly noisy, the side buttons are okay.
The size is good, something between mini and regular.
It is a bit heavy, because of the two AA batteries, but without them, you don't have the promised battery life.
The weight can be a bit tiring, but if you download Logitech's software, you can increase the cursor speed, so the problem is solved.
The scroll wheel in infinite scrolling is very sensitive and moves with the slightest touch, this may not bother you when surfing the web, but when you adjust the volume in a media player with the scroll wheel, it will drive you crazy. In normal scrolling, it's okay but noisy.
Overall, it is a good mouse for its price, and all of you who complain probably forget that for about 25 euros, you only get brands that their mothers don't know, and if you want something better, just pay double or triple.
Very good mouse for its price. Incredible battery but its materials are not very durable so it needs attention. Previously, on the side where you rest your hand, it had an extra hidden button which for some reason they removed in this version. Otherwise, it's great for office work. I know that the battery lasts almost 3 years.
After testing the MXmaster 3s, I believe it is better for the use I do, I am a web dev. The price is good and the construction is also good, it is comfortable to hold and not too big, and it has a very good scroll. I use it with one battery to make it lighter. The MXmaster 3s did not suit me due to its size and weight.. My hand got tired.
I needed a second mouse, so I bought the same one without hesitation for home use. The product was exactly as I expected, arrived well-packaged and on time. I highly recommend the product for its good ergonomics and customizable usage options, for users with medium/large-sized hands (it might be too big for smaller hands).
The review concerns use in a work/office environment, not gaming. So, this mouse is one of the worst - if not the worst - mice that have passed through my hands (and I have had many as a programmer and gamer):
- The most unacceptable accuracy/motion tracking I have ever seen in any mouse in my life, even compared to mice in the €15 range. No combination of settings helped, and I tried many times to make it work in various setups over the past 2 years.
- Build quality of the plate: the click is uncertain if it registers, it has a very poor/vague feeling, and it even does something like a secondary click that does not correspond to any input. The scroll wheel also has an issue where the wire that holds/allows for infinite scroll is prone to breaking (this has happened with a previous higher-quality Logitech mouse as well). Without the wire activated, the infinite scroll is very unclear in terms of the speed it rotates, etc., so it is practically useless.
- Weight: it takes 2(!) AA batteries for some reason, when other similar ones are perfectly fine with 1. Therefore, it feels like a boulder in everyday use or at work, which becomes even more noticeable due to the accuracy issue as you constantly have to readjust its position.
- Ergonomics: It never felt comfortable to hold. It is somewhat oddly small (at least for my hand), while other even smaller portable/mini mice were much better ergonomically.
In short: Stay away. Choose something else in this price range. Otherwise, if you want Logitech, increase your budget.
Taking into account an older Logitech mouse that I had (I don't remember the model), I decided to purchase this one, after trying out several mice at regular intervals. The impressions are mixed.
First of all, the only sure thing is that the quality is not like the old ones. It has a good grip and nicely fits the palm. The size is something between mini and full size. For people with long fingers, there might be an issue. It has slightly reduced noise in the clicks compared to other mice I have tried.
Now, onto the negatives. The scroll wheel (I don't know if it's just mine or in general) is not stable in the left-right movement (obviously, I'm not referring to the left-right clicks, but to the "sideways" movement) and it feels very fake. Personally, I would have preferred the side buttons to be slightly further back. It doesn't glide well on my mouse pad and works better on my desk's melamine surface. Also, it doesn't have a DPI adjustment button. The button behind the scroll wheel is for keeping it stepped or letting it spin freely.
Overall, for the 29 euros that I bought it for, I can't say that I'm disappointed. I would recommend it to someone, but I would advise them to have low expectations. However, I wasn't thrilled either. I want to emphasize that I'm not a gamer and I don't know how it performs in that area. Only office work.
I had it before and I was quite satisfied. At some point, it broke. After trying out some other mice, I decided to buy it again. Unfortunately, the company has made "discounts" on the materials used and its "performance" is inferior to the old marathon I had.
This particular model is a painful story. Unacceptable how many versions have been released and are still being released with the same name. You buy it, you fall in love with it, you lose it (usually due to wear on the left click) or you recommend it, and with every change/new purchase, more and more features are missing and the build quality noticeably decreases. The only reason for the 3 stars - and not a straight-up "black" for the mockery, only from logi(tech) - is that it still maintains a good value/quality ratio (God bless it).
P.S. And an update:
The "issue" is not with the scroll wheel but with the button right above it that controls the scrolling mode (free or stepped). Press it once and you'll remember me ;)
The scroll wheel is a problem. Its movement is not restricted, only by the finger. It may also be a matter of habit. However, as soon as I switched mice, I had the Razer DeathAdder Essential, which I bought twice, and both times it showed me the known problem with the scroll wheel. A problem with the scroll wheel makes the mouse generally useless. We'll see.
It's worth the money BUT, I had the same one for years and decided to buy this again because I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, Logitech has lowered the build quality along with the price:
The plastics are thinner, the battery sensor does not show the level but only 2 indicators (good, low), you no longer have the option to change the resolution from the mouse (the corresponding button is missing).
I compare it to the same model as it was about five years ago. It had none of these problems but cost 30 euros more. So I believe that for its price, this one continues to be good.
After about 1.5 years, the plastics on the left and right have come off.
For years now, I prefer Logitech mouse... and I got this one for office work and not gaming. Comfortable, complete, and with a very long battery life. Its range is very good and I haven't encountered any problems at all. The quality of the materials is equivalent to the price and maybe a little better. If someone compares it to a €100 mouse, it definitely falls behind, but if you just need a premium and branded mouse, then it is a good choice.
Characteristics I will say that it is the 2nd one I buy, just for a different pc (the first one didn't break).
I never believed that a mouse could last so long with a pair of batteries... indeed, for years.
I still use it even for casual gaming and it has very good responsiveness.
Very comfortable in the hand, the right weight and size.
I consider it to be the ideal choice, at least for its budget.
2nd time I buy it, the first one was in 2012! It died after 4-5 years and until now I had its wired brother, the m500, which also died after 5 years. (both from the left click switch).
The mouse is value for money for what it offers:
Comfortable
Large
Side buttons forward and backward
Free scrolling wheel (addictive, can't use other mice anymore!)
Battery life of 3 years!
Some negatives...
The side buttons don't click like the regular buttons but make a dull click... in the m500 they clicked normally, not in this one.
The right and left click are loud in sound.
The plastic feels different from before, as if it's thinner.
The battery cover doesn't close tightly.
Durability will show, if it lasts another 3-4 years for 29 euros, it will be perfect!
It suited me very well due to its size. It is large enough to fully support the palm of the hand and prevent wrist fatigue. In all other aspects, the build quality of Logitech is as always good and reliable.
It is a very good mouse for office work with good responsiveness and a long-lasting battery. The only thing I didn't like is the scroll wheel, which has two levels of continuous and limited scrolling, neither of which is very convenient. But everything else is very good.
Suitable size, fast response of keys but not silent. Amazing function of unifying receiver with simultaneous connection of mouse & keyboard 2 in 1 (Logitech).
I have it for over a year. Very good response on the mouse. You can do whatever you want with the side buttons. It has an additional button where you can also put whatever you want from the menu. A very important advantage is that the battery lasts forever.
I have had this mouse for over 4 years. It is truly incredible. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good wireless mouse.
POSITIVES:
Good weight
Huge battery life
One battery can be removed to make it lighter
Responds quickly
Very comfortable in the hand for all ages
Also suitable for gaming
NEGATIVES:
The scroll wheel should be a bit more rigid when clicked.
Sits slightly slanted in the hand
I bought it for the second time and was greatly disappointed to see that the side button is missing, so minus one star. I needed everything for the job I wanted, if I had known, I wouldn't have bought it.
