Description

Scooter tire ScootSmart for installation on the front or rear wheel by Dunlop. Its dimensions are 110/70-16, meaning it has a width of 110mm, a profile of 70, and can be mounted on a 16" diameter rim. The profile of the tires, which is the height of the tire's sidewall, is always referred to as a pure number without a unit of measurement as it is a percentage of the width. For example, a 100/90 tire has a width of 100mm and a profile of 90, meaning it has a profile of 100 x 0.90 = 90mm.

Stay away!!!!! The worst there is. I took off the tires from a Piaggio Liberty 125 S ABS 2020 because I ran over a screw and didn't want to repair it, encouraged by the tire shop that Dunlop would be better. LIE! From the very first ride, I realized that if the bike turns, I will fall. If it didn't have ABS, I would have been killed. I thought they were new and slippery, but not even close. A year later, and the tires are even worse. I'm looking to change them to put something else on, but unfortunately, you can't find the right size for my bike. So, stay away from such garbage. I always wish to stay upright!

Owner of Sym Symphony ST200i ABS from 10/2017. I don't do many kilometers (I have a total of 23,500 km so far). Compared to the "mama" Chinese tires, it's day and night. I put them on at 14,000 kilometers three years ago and they still feel soft and have great grip. With the "mama" tires, I was sliding on wet surfaces, but with these, I don't feel anything. I had tried Pirelli and Michelin on my previous scooter, but with Dunlop, I have to say that I am more satisfied than ever! The usage I have is mostly agile urban riding at 90% (continuous accelerations, turns, and braking) and 10% on the national highway (steady speed of 90-100 km/h). Plus, they also have a nice tread.

I put them on my sym symphony st euro5. The previous tires were terrible in terms of grip, quality, and shape. After 2500km yesterday, I installed these specific ones. I am amazed! They feel perfect, they turn effortlessly, and the ABS hasn't even kicked in since I put them on. I can accelerate fully on wet surfaces and they don't even spin. They are truly amazing. Also, they are made in France!

I have been riding scooters for the past 20 years and have tried Michelin, Metzeler, and Pirelli. I consider Dunlop Scootsmart to be the best, especially on wet roads (according to mototriti's '19 test). But even on dry roads, I have never had any complaints!

I did not expect the tire to be so bad. In one year, it feels like it's made of plastic, not rubber at all. This results in slipping during turns, giving the impression that you will fall. I will not choose it again. Better to go for the Pirelli angel scooter!

The tire for this size that many scooters wear is top-notch! They warm up very easily, which is very good for city riding, for stop-and-go in short distances. They also have excellent grip in the rain, maybe even better than in dry conditions. It is a clean city tire for all conditions. The only negative, like all good tires, is that because it is soft, its lifespan in sun, rain, etc. is shorter compared to harder ones. Perhaps the best tire currently available for scooter safety.

I was very satisfied with them in the rain. They gave you the confidence that they hold up at speeds up to 60 kilometers on poor quality asphalt (not in a curve, of course). What impressed me a lot is that in sharp turns with a few kilometers on dry pavement, and warm tires, the front one (110-70/16) would slide and an inexperienced person would definitely fall. And this has happened several times, not just once.
