  • Connected to solar panel, in a church, with a 12v 10w 0.67ah* panel, and a 12v 78ah battery, it works perfectly for 7-8 years, and powers 4 led 12v e27 10w 840lm bulbs, plus 2 led g4 12v 4.2w 420lm. It is used for the needs of the church: lighting, microphone, wifi, spy cam*, sacred items, singers, surrounding areas, charging smartphones, etc.

  • After 6 months of use, it broke and then I realized that it overcharged the car battery (sealed/classic type) of Bosch brand 60AH, it inflated it and the diagnostic showed it was damaged. The battery was disconnected from the load, in an external covered well-ventilated area protected from rain, along with the mentioned Phocos charger. I tried to save money with a cheap charger and ended up losing 70 euros on the battery!

This review is about the maximum short circuit current: 10 A

Small, simple, and looks well-made. It can accommodate large diameter cables, which is convenient. It only has one LED indicator to show if it is charging, no other indications.
As for the negatives, as a PWM controller, it has significantly lower efficiency compared to an MPPT regulator, but of course, the cost is also on a different level.

Cheap, small, beautiful. It withstands up to 30 volts maximum input voltage from the panels. I have no complaint, just in case it is outside in the weather conditions, apply a protective spray on the board to avoid wear and tear over time.
