I should note before I begin that I have studied Music Production and Sound Engineering in 2 different schools, not to show off that "I know," but to understand each other. So, by pure chance (or stupidity, however you want to take it), I have tried both the AKG K52 and K92 for 1-2 months each. What do I mean by this? I had the K52 for about two months, but someone stole my backpack with these headphones inside, so I went and bought the K92. The reason is simple, although I consider them to be great headphones for their price (I bought them for 35 euros), I am a bit demanding as a person and I found that they lack some frequency range... I couldn't pinpoint exactly which frequencies (I think somewhere in the mid-high range), but even a slightly trained ear can tell. Now that I have the K92 and I see that they are being sold for 46 euros on Skroutz (I bought them for 49 euros), I explicitly and categorically state that anyone who can afford these extra 14 euros (or whatever the price is on the day you look at them) should do it without a second thought! The difference between these two headphones is much greater than the 14 euros that separate them. The frequency content and overall sound you hear on the K92 is at least 30% (up to 40%) better than the K52, in my opinion. Find a store where you can compare both of them with your own ears, if you think I'm exaggerating. Personally, I was very impressed by the difference in sound, because I wasn't so optimistic when I bought them. Besides, both of them are far from the price tags of the category's flagships. The K92 has a fuller sound. More transparent. It should be noted here that both were tested on the Novation Audiohub sound card. I think I don't need to mention that both the K52 and K92 have the flattest sound that AKG can offer at this price (the K92 has better low-frequency performance, which is too flat in the K52, tested on Ableton, with sub bass at 30-100Hz, without implying that the K52 is bad. Quite the opposite. Both are impressive considering the selling price), because these headphones are aimed at the target group of home studios, band monitoring, etc. If you want them for anything else (gaming, YouTubing, etc.), I believe you are on the wrong page. Go for something like the Sennheiser HD 20-something. Ergonomically, both are almost the same (the K92 is slightly more comfortable on the ear), with the design of the foldable headband standing out. Extremely convenient, it adjusts directly to any head. A true over-ear headphone, unless you have pointy ears like an elf. Then you might have some extra ear tips sticking out. In conclusion, for their price, they are possibly unbeatable, but I repeat that if someone is interested enough in their sound and can afford these few extra euros for the K92, they should do it without a second thought. They will be rewarded disproportionately better. Personally, I give them 5 stars because with this build quality, ergonomics, and sound at 30-35 euros, I couldn't ask for anything else.

First of all, I would like to emphasize that the headphones range in price from 35 to 40 euros and everything I mention is related to this price range.

Positives:
- Good sound quality (the mid frequencies are not very clear but can be adjusted with an equalizer)
- Relatively strong bass, with minimal depth but still gets the job done
- Comfortable even after prolonged use
- Decent build quality (I prefer better sound quality over better construction quality within this budget) The ear cushions are very comfortable (I should note that the cushions do not touch the ears but cover them, and personally, they don't bother me)
- Good sound isolation (really good for passive headphones)

Negatives:
- They are quite large (and heavy), and combined with the fact that they don't fold, they can be a bit difficult to carry in a bag or around the neck
- Due to their size and sound isolation, it is impossible to use them while walking on the street. Also, when walking with them, they tend to make a creaking noise, which I find annoying
- The cable is quite long (2.5 meters) and not detachable, so you will need to tie it up, which can be a bit bothersome
- Your ears may sweat during the summer, but this is common with over-ear headphones, so I mention it as a typical issue
- They do not have a microphone or any buttons on the cable

Overall, these headphones are a good option for 40 euros, ideal and convenient for traveling and for use with a PC. The only reason not to get them is if you prefer the AKG K92 headphones, which have better sound quality and are priced similarly to the K52. So, if you find yourself choosing between the two, I would recommend the K92

I bought them for 35 euros. I think for this money I got the best available headphones on the market.

I read many comments that these specific headphones do not have the strongest bass and that they are more suitable for low-budget studio monitor use with a flat sound. This made me very skeptical because when I listen to music, I want to hear sound as if it's coming from a full-range speaker and not an old radio. However, for the low-quality music I listen to (trance, prog trance, psytrance, prog psy, psy chill, chillstep), they were able to handle it perfectly and I am very satisfied, even with the low frequencies.

Another thing that made me skeptical about these headphones is that the advertised sensitivity was much lower compared to three different models of Sennheiser headphones that I had in the past, which had the same impedance. What I found is that the headphones are very loud to the point that they surprised me, and that the advertised sensitivity of the Sennheiser headphones was probably fake. However, it should be taken into consideration that for the sound to be loud, the output to which they are connected must also be powerful, and the sound file itself must have volume.

Other points that impressed me with these headphones are that they have 4cm drivers and the difference is noticeable in practice (the sound has volume), they are truly over-ear and not on-ear, they are very comfortable on the ear and head and relatively comfortable to wear with glasses, they feel very light on the head, they are self-adjusting and can be worn directly without needing to adjust their length, the leather cushions can be changed and replacements are available from the company, the cable goes only to one earpiece and the sound is transmitted to the other earpiece through the metal parts that look like a headband and not through a cable (!), the cable does not tangle easily and does not easily break, the cable is 2.5 meters long and I can comfortably use them with the computer or from the computer to the couch, I really like their design (subjectively), and they come with an adapter from the manufacturer.

As for the negatives, their mediocre sound isolation in both directions (I can hear everything from the outside, and others can hear my music even at medium volume), they are not suitable for DJ use (personally, it doesn't bother me) because they require two hands to put them on and take them off and they do not rotate to listen only from one earpiece, they take up space and do not fold (personally, it doesn't bother me) to be easily transported, they are too big to hang around my neck, I am skeptical about their build quality because they give me the impression that with a single press, the two metal parts that act as a headband can break, and finally, the cable is made of a material that makes it "stick" instead of sliding (but we can't have everything since each material has its own advantages and disadvantages).

I have them for a long time but I haven't used them very much. I haven't worn them in a long time, but let me say a few words based on the impression they had on me in the past (and I also bought them as a gift) and maybe I'll add something else when I hear them again properly (e.g. I don't remember how much they isolate outside noise). First of all, the price is rather funny for what you get. They play very well, they have bass (I wouldn't want anything more, others I don't know), they have mids, they have highs, they sound full, they are detailed and clear, the instruments have air between them, they don't have the claustrophobic tendencies of other closed-type headphones, I would say that the sound is more "acoustic" than "electric", they sound comfortable and generally don't tire you in anything. They have the kind of sound that AKG has (because I have heard AKG playing completely differently) which is towards natural, effortless, fresh and comfortable, without harshness and fake elements.
