We chose Philips because it was a big, reliable company and it was highly recommended by the mothercare store. The jug broke within the first month of use due to the temperature, resulting in the lid not fitting correctly and hot water leaking from the steam to mixer switch. The jug was only hand-washed and has not been used for defrosting. It is difficult to clean, with low-quality plastics and overall materials. In addition, the unacceptable official Philips service should be mentioned. Despite being under warranty, they require the entire device (not just the jug) to be sent for an estimated 15 days without providing a replacement product. It is better to choose another product with a glass jug, definitely not this one.

Definitely one of the best purchases I have made for my child and definitely a unique gadget for everyday life and vacations! If you haven't cut small pieces of meat, it takes more time than indicated, but it doesn't bother me as I don't deal with it at all while cooking, and certainly this time is not more than what would be needed with any other cooking method. The storage containers are indeed used very little because they are small, but it didn't bother us, just like the reheating of pureed food didn't bother us as we always reheat them in pieces. The only "negative" thing about it is indeed the difficult cleaning. Residues enter some parts of the jug (which do not come into contact with the food) that are impossible to reach. However, periodically soaking them in warm water with vinegar helps a bit. Overall, I am completely satisfied.

As for cleaning, I put it directly in the dishwasher and I have no problem at all. The only thing I do is rinse it as soon as I finish. It doesn't smell at all.
The only negative thing is the hole in the base of the pot and the lid doesn't come off. Sometimes, some things can get stuck there, different from the dishwasher, and it's difficult to remove them.
I cook everything in 30 minutes and they turn out great. I believe that the baby's food has more flavor now that it is steamed, as opposed to boiling that I used to do until now.
I would not recommend it for pasta and rice. The rice will stick to the lid of the steamer and pasta cannot be cooked.
