The desiccant dehumidifier Meaco DD8L Zambezi dehumidifies 8L per day. It features an automatic restart mechanism after a power outage and the ability for daily operation scheduling. It has 3 dehumidification modes and Laundry (clothes drying mode). It can be permanently connected to the drainage system.
The dehumidifier has a thermal resistance inside. The dry air emitted by the dehumidifier into the space is approximately 20°C warmer than the room air. It significantly aids in heating the home, raising the room temperature by 1-2°C.

Whoever does not take this machine and opts for others with more finesse and automation, I am sure they will end up losing.
We have had it since 2017 in a 93sqm house and it was working perfectly without showing any signs of struggling! Now in an 80sqm house, it works even more comfortably. On rainy days, it works quite a bit on the first day and then simply maintains the desired humidity level. Also, it is excellent for drying clothes. A full load of 8kg dries in 5-6 hours. As for consumption, I haven't noticed a significant difference mainly because we try to operate it during off-peak hours, and this is very easy with its programming capabilities for activation and deactivation.
I have had it for three years, 24 hours a day, every day my dog goes out without me having to look at him. The only flaw I find is the smell that the zeolite creates sometimes.
As long as it was working, it was flawless. With monthly filter cleaning, it lasted me 3-4 years. I purchased it on the 11th of 2016.
At some point, it displayed C2, but with a good and careful cleaning with air, it returned to normal.
Around 2020, it completely stopped working, so I bought an Inventor and put it aside.
I decided to fix it because it is an expensive machine.
I sent it to the dealership.
The technician called me and told me that it cannot be repaired because it needs zeolite, a resistor, and some fuses, costing 250 euros!
Personally, I consider the cost excessive since I bought the Inventor PWR-Wifi-30 for 270 euros!!
So, if you want my opinion... stay away from this particular machine because when it has a problem... you throw it away.
I'm sorry for the dealership's behavior as they did not adequately support the machine they sold me...
We have had it for about 6 years, operating 24 hours a day for about 6 to 8 months depending on the weather. Plus, every 2 days it worked for drying clothes. It has not presented any problems so far. In terms of noise, the fan can be heard when it is on the 3rd setting.
I have had it for 3 years now. It works until summer comes. I never turn it off. I just clean the filter as often as I can. This year I will probably get a new filter from the dealership. Not that it broke, just for better performance. I think it does a very good job
I thought my house was not humid until I used it!!!
Very effective, excellent build quality.
I bought it three years ago and placed it in my bedroom, where it mainly operates in the mornings. Suddenly, it stopped working and the damage is: completely destroyed. That's what I was told by Meaco. Completely destroyed in three years in an environment that is ventilated daily. I would never have bought it if I knew it was so fragile.
I bought it three years ago. It had worked for very few hours and suddenly stopped working for no reason. But that's not the problem. 1. It has a very high consumption compared to others. 2. It smells a lot when it's working. 3. It is very noisy. 300€ is too much for what it offers. It's a waste of money for me.
After 2.5 years it broke. See here https://forums.ybw.com/index.php?threads/%C2%A30-43-fix-for-meaco-dd8l-dehumidifier.443173/
After 2.5 years of operation in a country house (it was operating from September to June), it stopped working. I took it to a repair shop and they told me it's not worth fixing it!!!! I had to buy a new one, of course not the same brand!!!! Warranty is only 2 years while others have 5+1!!!
It does a very good dehumidification. It is the 2nd year that I have it. It gave me a problem and displayed C2. I sent it to the dealership and it turned out that the filter was to blame and needed cleaning. And when I say cleaning, I mean washing because it was completely clogged, not with dust but with dirt. The fault lies with the burning candle in the room. After a good wash, it works properly again. The only negative thing I would say is its consumption and the fact that it only has a 2-year warranty. The dealership is unacceptable to charge the customer for shipping while it is within warranty.
The truth is that I have no experience with any other dryer. I am completely satisfied both with drying clothes and in general with using it in the house. I think it's worth its money. I have been using it for a year
I have had this dehumidifier for exactly 2 years. It worked well for dehumidifying, but suddenly it burned the circuit board just after the warranty expired. Now I don't know what else it might cause in the future. If it suddenly throws something again, it will fly off the 1st floor
Good morning everyone, I have had this particular Meaco for about 4 years. It is good at dehumidifying as it claims, but I have had to send it for repairs twice already, and now I will have to send it for the third time. So, I am not satisfied with its durability and reliability. First, the circuit board broke, then the fuse burned out, and now I don't know, it's just dead. I am located in Patra and it is not easy to send it to Athens. The cost of repairs, along with shipping, is expensive. Also, today when I spoke with the official representative, they told me that besides repairs, I might also need to replace the zeolite, which lasts for about 5 years depending on usage. The cost is 70 euros. They don't mention anything about the zeolite replacement anywhere. In the descriptions, they imply that it won't need to be replaced. That's it.
Purchase on 21/11/2018 and I am reviewing it now because it has passed the endurance test. I have bought 2 more for my father and friend. Reliable and functional, as for the smell that everyone talks about, it is small in the first 20 minutes unless you have a dog's nose. No service, maintenance, or anything else, just rinse the filter once in a while.
In relation to condensing technology, it's unbeatable.
In a 96% space, it quickly removes moisture in a very short time, and you can see it from the amount of water collected in its container.
And only from the reviews, apart from the questions on various dehumidifiers that many relevant people insisted on Meaco ... Absolutely satisfied here for almost a year ....
I have had the dehumidifier for 3 years now. It has not presented the slightest problem. It is worth its money and more.
Quite efficient! On rainy days, I leave it permanently open and it stops when it reaches the desired humidity of the room, I have set it to 55%. Very convenient that it can dry clothes in a room on rainy days. I only use it in winter and it gently warms up the space because it emits a little heat.
Now the downside is one star for the minimal noise and the subtle smell in the strong mode. But these things don't bother me.
I am satisfied with the purchase.
Finally, very important, the consumption at the low level is 360 watts, measured! Very good indeed.
What Scroutz says is at its strongest.
It is the second dehumidifier that I have purchased and I must admit that it is light years ahead of the previous one (Delonghi DNC65). It is definitely worth the money and more
Quality and efficient device.
I have it to dry (mainly in winter) the clothes from the washing machine and it does a great job. I put the washed clothes on the clothes rack, inside a room in my apartment, close the doors and windows of the room, and turn on the dehumidifier.
Once it reaches the desired environmental humidity (according to the electronic panel), the device turns off by itself and then flashes to maintain a constant humidity in the room where it is placed.
It makes quite a lot of noise, especially on the third fan setting. If you sleep close to the device, then you should operate it on the first fan setting (for less noise), which, however, still has good performance.
The price is quite high, but the overall quality of the device is at high levels.
I have been living in Mykonos for 1+ year and it works 24 hours during the winter.....it does what it really needs to do... it is an efficient air purifier, 20 minutes after cooking the house doesn't smell at all....no mold....a fresh air sensation....automatic restart after power outage....large water tank...I had a dehumidifier with zeolite but luckily it broke and I got this one, we were saved. The only negative point is maybe a slight smell at the beginning from the zeolite, but that's how they all are....even the dust filter it has is great (make sure to read the cleaning instructions carefully)
Great reliability!!! Zeolite gives a few extra degrees to the room!! As for humidity, it will be an unknown word afterwards!! Without a second thought!!!
The machine is amazing, I live in a 125 square meter house that is not energy efficient and has a roof terrace. It collects a lot of moisture if you use it for two or three days straight. I mean many hours daily on the low setting to save electricity. In combination with heating, you can see the difference to the fullest. It is recommended for large houses with insufficient heating. It is worth its money. English company. The English know what they're doing.
We recently bought it and I don't know its functions well, and generally it is our first dehumidifier. But regarding the noise that I read, I will disagree! It is not silent, but at the first level it is fine for the night, it doesn't bother at all.. and even if I put it on the highest level during the day, it is still not annoying.
The best in desiccant dehumidifier! We use it in our country house and the humidity disappeared. The house heats up much faster!!!
