Worth it from me... software 1.3.09

I am in an area with poor signal, which means that sometimes all channels except ERT (the best signal in my area) are lost.

It captures much better than the prime hd when the signal is low. The Albanian channel, Klan TV, comes in very clear without any squares or sound cuts compared to the previous one (the prime hd had large squares where you couldn't see what was happening and the sound had interruptions in a weak signal).

Also, (the antenna is towards Pantokratoras Kerkyra, but sometimes it also captures from Akarnanika without turning) while the prime hd, after scanning, did not save one of the two frequencies from the two transmitters (Pantokratoras/Akarnanika), the Proton does not have such an issue, and both are there, bingo.

It automatically detects any changes in the channels without any problems. For example, when ERT HD changed to ERT Sports, it automatically detected the new change in a split second.

Many settings for the receiver part... good picture and brightness adjustment, fast channel switching. Sometimes the control takes a while to change channels, as if they were stuck, but it's a minor issue.

There is a go-to function in the media player using the page up/down button, which takes the movie to any desired point.

It has never frozen as a processor, even with frequent channel changes, playing with USB, scanning (I did a lot at the beginning), and switching between all of them, they always change quickly/exit, etc. It's on almost all day and night during the first few days I got it.

It slightly raises the temperature (in summer), and since I don't always turn on the air conditioning, the room sometimes reaches 33 degrees (with heatwaves). I have removed some of the stickers inside the box and stuck four caps from green cola (black) together underneath it. I have raised it quite high for better ventilation (the only holes for air intake are at the bottom). This is a precautionary measure, but I do it with routers, etc. as well.

USB played my AC3 files that I had on a USB stick, and all the small files in .mts, .ts format that I had from the previous one. However, it seemed to put them in a different order (there were many, and I don't remember exactly, but I think it had them in a different order. It doesn't bother me that much, I just mention it).

A negative aspect for me is that in a new scan, it loses the channel order (where I had put the Akarnanika channels towards the end). But if I do a USB backup and use the saved channel list, it's okay again.

I imagine the same applies to the Proton T265 LED, since the only difference between them is the LED/numbers in front.

    EDIT 25/3/19

I tried the media player... In the end, it plays many files. It played all the MP4 files (I had previously mentioned that it didn't play all of them), but IF there are subtitles, it requires UTF-8 encoding... otherwise, it cuts off the entire movie during loading and says "Unsupported file," and sometimes it played some subtitles and sometimes not... it was the subtitles.

It also played an FLV file, which is not mentioned in the prospectus. Well done for that because I have a few of those movies that I had downloaded from the internet a long time ago.

The ebook is not really an ebook, more like a simple notepad... Advertising an ebook, I thought it would have some file (e.g. epub, which is well-known) that reads and displays photos, but no, it only plays txt files like Notepad.

In terms of reception, it is very good, about 10-20% better in sensitivity than the other 3 I have.

The EPG is very good and reliable, with many options inside on how the EPG will appear, and there is no need to switch to another channel to see the program of someone else. With the channel we are already watching, we can check what is available on the others in detail

Very good receiver excellent quality, catches all channels with 100% signal, the positive thing is also the 5-year warranty from the company, the only thing is that it heats up a little, this may be normal, and the remote control sometimes gets stuck, you have to press harder in some cases, otherwise it's great, and for me, these two things are not negatives
