UPDATE 8/2022

For now, it works well. I repeat that due to minimal vibrations, it is much more comfortable than other machines I have tried. I am changing my rating back to 5 stars, hoping that the damage was just a coincidence (which can happen to any machine).

UPDATE 20/7/2022

It was repaired within the warranty period (unfortunately, without informing me about the type of damage). If I see that it does not have the same problem again (hopefully it was just a material defect), I will rate it again with 5 stars.

From 5 stars, I have just deducted 3: I had used it very little and it already has a defect! The motor spins but the head does not! I suspect what has happened, I assume it is the connection between the shaft and the motor - maybe the "teeth" of the shaft have melted, but whether it is that or something else, I did not expect it from any lawnmower after such little use, especially not from Makita... Luckily, I bought it earlier this year, so it is under warranty. I will provide updates. The rating I can give and whether it will have another defect or not will depend on the progress of the service. Hopefully, it was just a "material defect."

FIRST DAY IMPRESSIONS (9/1/2022) *****
Previous electric lawnmowers I had used had strong vibrations that were very annoying in the hand. With this one, I did not feel any vibrations at all. Excellent. I would prefer the switch to be softer or to "lock" so that I don't have to keep pressing it continuously, but for now, I haven't seen another machine with what I would ask for (so this did not negatively affect my rating).
