Description

Constructed from lightweight aluminum alloy.

Immobilizes the spine in extension due to the exerted and controlled pressure at three points. Allows sitting position so that the patient is functional. Gradually improves kyphosis. Achieves correct trunk position when walking. Easy adjustment of the splint in height and width.

Consists of:

  • Adjustable width metal mobile sternal pad
  • Pelvic adjustable and functional frame
  • Rear dorsal pad for proper splint application
  • Lateral metal and plastic safety closures

Indications:

  • Conservative restoration in undisplaced fractures:
    • Compression fracture of vertebral body T10-L2
    • Wedge compression fracture of vertebral body T10-L2
    • Osteoporotic fractures T10-L2
  • Post-surgical recovery in:
    • Spinal fusion T.O.M.S.S.
    • Laminectomies - discectomies T.O.M.S.S.
