5 to 12 weeks of dietary treatment are necessary for the dissolution of struvite uroliths. To prevent recurrence, the diet should be followed for at least an additional 6 months, followed by a urine test. Once the cat's treatment is successfully completed, you can continue administering Urinary S/O.
