You will buy this dehumidifier because it will reduce humidity, dry painted walls, dry laundry from the washing machine, save you from mold, and most importantly: save you high electricity bills!
I have had it for three years in a storage/workshop of 40 square meters, which is in the garden, directly on the ground, and I had a huge problem with humidity and mold. I installed it and from the second day, it had dried up even the cement that I had broken for the floor years ago! I have set it to be permanently open and maintain a consistently low humidity by connecting it with a hose so that I don't have to empty the bucket. It has been working day and night here for years and it is a very good purchase because my electricity bill is as if I don't even have it and it has already paid for itself in the first year. It is a Greek company and I have also bought a smaller one for the closet.
Now, as for the noise, it is not completely silent as I read in other comments, it is normal, like a refrigerator, and you get used to it like babies get used to the extractor fan because you love the machine!
It is powerful and has everything you need, the company has very polite people to assist you, they recommended this specific one to me. I haven't had any issues and in a few months, I will be closing the fourth year!

I bought this dehumidifier a month ago after doing a lot of research on the internet. At first, I was hesitant because I didn't know the brand, but the reviews convinced me to give it a try. I haven't regretted it for a moment, especially at the price of 140 euros! I think it does everything that dehumidifiers priced at 200+ euros do. It quickly removes moisture from a 60+ sqm house, but I think it would cover up to 80-90 sqm. It has 2 dust-carbon filters with easy access, which need to be changed every 6 months with a cost of around 10 euros per filter. However, you can also use it without the active carbon filter, as confirmed by the company. It has 2 air intake parts, unlike most dehumidifiers that have only one, which makes it more convenient for placement. Now, as for the noise, it is not that quiet... I mean, you can't sleep with it on in the bedroom at night, even on the lowest fan setting. It produces a sound similar to an old air conditioner or a gasoline pump at a gas station. It's the kind of noise that is not annoying, but not exactly quiet either. In terms of design, it is very modern and unique compared to others. And just the fact that it is made by a Greek company deserves a +1 from me! It is definitely worth the purchase and more

It doesn't even last for 24 hours of operation. It seems very efficient and worth its money!
I bought it because I was convinced by the countless positive reviews, especially regarding the noise.
In many reviews, it is mentioned as silent. I have to say that you definitely can't sleep in the same room and I would compare the noise not to that of a modern refrigerator or air conditioner, but to that of a professional ice cream freezer or an air conditioner from the 80s.

Using a mobile application to measure the dB while the compressor is running (not knowing if the measurement is reliable), I see the following:
*At a distance of 3cm from the device, it shows about 59dB.
*At a distance of 2m from the device, it shows about 53dB.
*In the kitchen, where only the refrigerator is running, it's about 40dB (with the dehumidifier turned off).
*In the bedroom, where I don't have any devices, it's about 35dB (with the dehumidifier turned off).

I've never had a dehumidifier to have a point of comparison to say if the noise is within reasonable limits, but I'm seriously considering replacing it solely because of the noise, maybe with one that has zeolite (but the consumption is higher there).
We'll see.

Update 13/01/2021: The product is defective and some plastic parts are loose.
Update: After replacement, the new piece still makes a lot of noise.
I believe that's how the model is...
Currently, I have a Morris dehumidifier that is completely different and I'm very satisfied with it.

When the fan is not running, the readings are not accurate (e.g. 72%), as the sensor is affected by the internal humidity of the dehumidifier. When the fan starts, the measurements quickly correct themselves (e.g. 57%). Also, there is a "tolerance" of the system regarding the display readings.

It does its job perfectly and more.
I would have liked the bin to be a bit bigger, but it's okay. I connected a hose to the drain and everything is fine. The hose that comes with it is useless. It needs to be stronger because it doesn't let water pass once it gets clogged.
Also, do not install the wheels. They are low quality and unnecessarily increase the noise.
After the initial test, I bought 2 more.
All 3 have been working flawlessly for 9 months now, constantly running on low fan setting and 55% humidity. I don't even bother.
Except for the first week when it worked systematically, it now runs minimally during the day for dehumidification (not referring to consecutive humidity checks).

The UV lamp works only with the fan, without the dehumidifier compressor, which helps sanitize the air throughout the day. Particularly useful when kids are sick, so the dehumidifier is not recommended to run (as the moderate humid climate helps absorb lung fluids).

To operate the device only with the UV lamp:
a) Make sure the device is off (the display shows two dashes --) and
b) Press the ION/UV button. The device will start only with the UV function.
c) You can select the fan speed from the corresponding button.

Its consumption is measured:
115-150w in dehumidifier mode and
25-32w in ION/UV mode only.

After months of continuous operation, I can say that it performs excellently. In an 80 sqm apartment (not a single 80 sqm space), it maintains humidity at desired levels, as long as you leave the intermediate doors open for air circulation. It actually exceeds the specifications provided by the company. Based on my experience with other dehumidifiers from reputable and good companies, noise usually comes from the compressor and mainly from resonances and vibrations of the entire construction. In this particular machine, I have never heard any creaking noises and the noise levels of the compressor, as mentioned by others, are like those of a modern refrigerator. Essentially, the only noticeable noise comes from the fan. The fan on the low setting does not bother at all, on the high setting it is clearly more audible, but personally it does not bother me as long as it is not placed in a workspace, office, or bedroom. Sometimes the digital humidity level indicators can be misleading. When the fan is not running (it has paused because it has reached the desired levels), the indication is not reliable. It usually shows a higher value than the actual humidity. This is obviously the reason why the fan automatically starts every half hour to check and activate the compressor if necessary. I also recommend using an analog, properly calibrated hygrometer if someone wants to have a better picture of the humidity level in their space. Overall, compared to two other machines from reputable companies that I have owned and cost me almost double or triple the price, Puredry surpasses them. It has left me completely satisfied.

I will agree with the positive comments of previous reviewers. Great value for money product. If you're not interested in features like Wi-Fi, etc., then you have found the dehumidifier you were looking for. During the first two days, it was constantly running in smart mode with the humidity set at 60%. After the house dried up a bit from the moisture, it started to have the pauses it mentions. The power consumption is max 168 Watts, measured at the socket with a device, while the noise at low speed is equivalent to that of a modern air conditioner at full blast. If you have it in another room at night, you can sleep comfortably, unless your nervous system is not well, in which case the dehumidifier is not to blame...

Update 28/4/2022:
I took it preemptively to the company's service center in Aigaleo since after so many years it needed a deep cleaning, in addition to filter cleaning, instead of the 30 euros.
I went to pick it up, where they told me (and I realized later at home from the difference in noise) that they had replaced the fan, which was about to give up. And without any additional charge, apart from the 30 euros for the cleaning.
One more star from me.
