Anti-skid chains from the company Guard, are placed on the driving wheels of the car, enhancing traction on the road when it is covered in snow and ice. Their application on four-wheel drive vehicles is done on the front axle to make the steering system more effective. They are relatively easy to install but it is necessary to have tested them beforehand so that we are familiar with their placement.
Also an important criterion in choosing snow chains, apart from the compatible size of our tire, is the diameter (thickness) of the chain we will choose. Usually, chains with a thickness of 12mm and above offer more effective grip and better penetration in the snow compared to thinner diameter chains.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
When I opened their plastic cases to place them, I found a page with instructions in 6 languages, which say different things, show different things, and mean different things... Imagine that there is little connection between the Greek and English instructions. Because I was struggling to figure out how to place them (until I became worried that I chose the wrong size), I scanned the QR code from the front side of the case in order to find support on the manufacturer/importer's website. The product no longer exists and is not supported. I give one star as the lowest rating for the lack of support and respect for the buyer.
Finally, using every drop of logic and Pythagorean applicability, I managed (under sunny conditions and without time pressure - if I had tried to put them in emergency conditions, it would probably have been very difficult or impossible).
