To ensure children have a healthy social life based on effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things the same way another person experiences them. This need is addressed by the illustrated books in this series, which promote emotional intelligence. The author: Yolanda Tsoroni-Georgiadis holds degrees from the Law School, the Pedagogical Academy, the Department of Education of the University of Athens, and has further training at the Marasleio Teacher Training School. She worked for many years in public education, writes for educational magazines, volunteers in organizations promoting literature, is an active member of the Women's Literary Society, and has published many children's books and folklore studies. She is included in the Register of Trainers for the program "Innovative Actions to Enhance Students' Reading" and has undertaken educational work in training seminars for Primary Education teachers.
