The machine is simply excellent for someone who knows how to work with Wahl machines. I had another model from Wahl before, which didn't suit me as much because its blades were rough, unlike this one, which you can use however you want, and with a very easy adjustment, you can make it shave completely.
An important detail is that they state the machine weighs 620 grams, but this weight includes the 4-meter cable, so personally, it didn't feel heavy to me at its 440 grams net weight.
The blades require maintenance before each use, cleaning, and oiling to achieve long-lasting excellent results; otherwise, over time, they will need to be replaced soon, and they are relatively expensive.
As for its use, you feel like you have a delightful tool in your hands that can handle whatever you want. Personally, I use it for body hair as well, but mainly for fading haircuts in combination with a shaver.
Former owner of the magic clip for 7 years (it went off, you will find my comment there) and now of the legend. Another serious construction, precise and stable tool for home use, beard, a little trimming, etc.
NOTE:
If you want to buy Wahl for the first time, you must ensure that you maintain it properly every time you use it, meaning good brushing and a little oil on the blades and on the side where you apply it. It is a clean machine, it doesn't have, for example, automation or standard service, etc., at some point you will need to open it for cleaning and for synchronization of the blades.
I have it since 2016, back then I bought it for just under 100 euros.

Having gone through 5 battery-powered machines in the last 15 years (Remighton (3), Philips (2)), I decided to try a serious electric machine. It's like going from Zastava to Ferrari. There's simply no comparison. My monthly haircut has become a pleasure. The machine is sturdy, almost silent (oil the blades before each haircut), doesn't get too hot even in the summer, and cuts clean hair like a hot knife through butter. No jams, no clogs, no strange noises. There are also spare parts available for everything. I don't think I'll need another machine in my life.
I have had it for almost a year. It has been very convenient for a short haircut every two weeks. It is powerful and cuts effortlessly. It does not make much noise.
It is very much worth it, but I will explain the reasons why I gave it four stars. Firstly, it tends to get clogged easily, especially if I use it on long hair, it will get stuck and I will have to use a hairdryer. Additionally, it is not a problem with the machine itself, but rather with the Wahl brand. It has a very slow motor and it takes a long time to finish the haircut. Very good. Very powerful, it doesn't get clogged at all and it's very easy to clean. It's the first time I'm cutting my own hair with a machine, even though it's corded, I didn't have any difficulty at all. During the second consecutive haircut I did on a friend of mine, it just got a little warm which is normal.

Purchase 8/2017 at 90€. I use it every 10 days, approximately 130+ uses so far, and it still doesn't need any adjustments. I have been using amateur hair clippers for 25 years, and this one is by far the best. I read in the comments: it vibrates, yes, it's a power issue... it collects hair, yes, because it cuts them cleanly... it's heavy, yes, because it has a quality motor, not plastic. Anyone with experience in hair clippers can appreciate the quality of this machine, not only in its construction but also in its cutting performance, which is truly incredible. It is the only one on the market that, with just the movement of the lever, allows for a 0.5 mm cutting adjustment on the teeth, making it versatile in its use. In America, all professionals use it for modern fades because of the teeth of this machine (tall and numerous compared to others), hence the high cost. With lubrication after each use and proper teeth adjustment, it will last you for years and cover all haircut preferences. Be careful, it's not for beginners, it doesn't forgive mistakes, and due to its power and weight, it may seem difficult to use for housewives who are used to lightweight rechargeable clippers that don't even cut baby fuzz. And one more thing: when the teeth of a machine make noise, it means they need alignment and adjustment from the side screw on the right, otherwise, at the very least, you will experience sharp pain in your ears, damage to the teeth of the machine, hair pulling because it won't cut properly, and motor overheating. A search on YouTube will show you videos from professionals, and there you will understand the capabilities of this machine. Its reasonable price is around 100+ €. I hope I helped.
The best machine for me has timeless value, better even than the magic one although it is heavy, but for me it is not a problem, on the contrary, it is a positive thing because it shows durability. Tremendous motor. Good blades. Customizable operating mode, you can even adjust the springs with a screwdriver. It needs to be oiled after each use though, otherwise it will develop flaws over time

Unbelievable professional Wahl machine made in USA, after all I didn't expect anything less from what it promises. If it touches your hand, you will make incredible fades, it doesn't struggle anywhere, and with all the combs for any haircut you want!
I have been cutting my own hair since I was 18 and I am now 33... I have tried many well-known and non-well-known machines... but I have never had one like this. It is the best and powerful, and with many attachments, I can play around with my haircut and layers, and everyone thinks I went to a hair salon... I was told that the warranty does not cover the clipper and it needs to be replaced for around 50 euros...
I don't know if it was just my luck or if it really is bad...

As a machine, it is excellent, I would say unstoppable. The only issue is its weight, it strains the hand until you get used to it. The length of the cable is sufficient, but it is not convenient in terms of ease of movement and rotation capabilities. I would recommend one without a cable, even if it was more expensive.

Awesome machine! I bought it after several years of experimenting with 50€ machines as an amateur. I wanted to go for something better and I bought it. Its weight is not a problem, it makes amazing fades, and I am very satisfied with its value for money
Since 1989, I have only been using oster 97-44 machines, but I had several issues with the service. After a lot of research (YouTube and reviews), I decided to purchase it in April. My opinion is that the machine is very good with a powerful motor (if adjusted correctly by the service) and easy to use with the lever, which offers many options for trimming. The only problem I had was that the spring inside the machine broke, but it was repaired for free by the dealership.
The tool is the definition of value for money! It handles everyday professional use without any problems! The positives are that it has scales for 0.5 (half) and 1.5! I highly recommend it, but only for professionals!
