It boils water quickly, but from the first use, I hear a screw running down inside the heating element, and my wife says that water sometimes comes out from the handle. We said, cheap, cheap, but it's not rocket science to make a decent kettle with a heating element and thermostat (that's essentially what a kettle is).

Cheap construction and you can tell from the moment you open it. The whole construction smells strongly of plastic, the base does not sit well on the counter and wobbles on its own. It easily catches salts and the whole construction seems like a flimsy tin rather than stainless steel. The lid is one of the weakest points as it is very thin plastic. I give it 3 stars hoping it won't stop working soon and at least do its job. Its positives are the good usability of the container and moderate boiling time of the water.

The glossy inox is a plus as it is easier to clean externally compared to other matte stainless steel kettles. I bought it for about 8.60 euros approximately 1-2 months earlier and with average daily use, the lid is indeed of child's play construction, the water reaches boiling point relatively quickly, while salts are easily noticeable (factors that affect 1. water hardness 2. resistance construction quality). I did not encounter any issues with the voltage, nor with the application of the kettle with the detachable base. So far, I would say it is a particularly economical purchase and with mild weekly use for 1-2 people, it definitely meets the needs but only up to a certain point.

Guys, the kettle is a total disappointment. The mechanism on the lid broke after the first use + it smells like plastic!!

Edit: Guys, after about 4 months of use, it started rusting on the inside and I had to send it for replacement. Keep that in mind.

From the moment I bought it, I noticed that the base doesn't sit properly, as well as the container on its base. It's as if it has been mishandled. But I had thrown away the packaging and couldn't return it.

After two months of use, it started to peel off black color from the bottom inside, resulting in the water not being drinkable.

After 4 days of use, it started to smell like burnt plastic. Made in PRC. I folded it nicely and took it for recycling.
