Description

Shoulder-arm immobilization envelope suitable for immobilizing the shoulder after injury or postoperative treatment. Dislocation may occur from injury or excessive laxity of the ligaments. The shoulder can dislocate without significant injury, and some patients have such loose ligaments that they can voluntarily dislocate and relocate their shoulder.

The most important thing after a shoulder dislocation is immediate relocation. Ideally, the relocation should be performed by an orthopedic specialist, followed by immobilization of the joint for about 3 weeks, with a referral to a physiotherapist for a shoulder girdle strengthening program. After shoulder dislocation surgery, we also immobilize the joint for about 3 weeks, with a rehabilitation program aimed at regaining the range of motion.

Shoulder-arm immobilization envelope AC 1101 features:

  • One size, made from cotton fabric, hypoallergenic, ventilated.
  • Two shoulder suspension straps with velcro closure for height adjustment.
  • Immobilization strap made of foam.
  • Provides relief by placing the elbow at a 90° flexion while simultaneously immobilizing the shoulder and arm area.

Indications:

  • Conservative rehabilitation of shoulder dislocation.
  • Conservative rehabilitation of sternoclavicular joint dislocation.
  • Postoperative treatment.
