After 5 years of extensive use on ships, I believe it has more than paid for itself.

I got it along with an EC23 in case one of them malfunctions. The second one, which hasn't even been used more than ten times, is practically free because it ran out of battery due to negligence.

It has been submerged in water, oil, and chemicals. It has been dropped from considerable heights (>5 meters) and only has minor scratches.

With the strobe, SOS, and another function that almost gives you a seizure, there is no way you will be disappointed.

The battery is starting to decline, but I don't consider it a negative after such harsh use.

The price may not necessarily reflect its value and usefulness (what usefulness does it have besides lighting, anyway?). Boaters, load up, you won't regret it.

Of course, it is not intrinsically safe certified, and the first person will complain about it

It endured 6 months of rough use inside a steamship gas station. The best tool I have ever used

Lightweight with powerful light. It has various brightness levels as well as strobe. It is resistant to falls, it has fallen 3 times from a height of 1.7m without any problem. It also fell on wet grass and remained for 3 hours in light rain and humidity conditions without any problem. The only downside is the charging, do not charge it with chargers over 1A as it creates issues with the mechanism and you might think it is broken. I got an external charger from the same company and I no longer charge it through the USB. Finally, the battery life is very good, I have three with 2300, 3400, 3500 mah.

The lens is a small marvel of technology!!! Small, powerful, relatively lightweight, it illuminates at a considerable distance just as well (the manufacturer claims a distance of 232 meters and I believe it reaches it), rechargeable, with 4 levels of brightness and 3 different settings. It is mentioned somewhere that it is also waterproof, up to 2 meters!!! I haven't tested that. Okay, what can I say. It has become an essential part of my pocket, my bag at work, or on any trip. Even though it was purchased at a price of 72 euros, I consider it a gift within this price range.
