Quite a nice taste, although its texture is quite wet. Compared to other gels that are thicker, it "goes down" like water.

The gel is very good and worth every last cent. It is important that it is more fluid than the others and it is much easier to drink even if you are running, while it doesn't stick to the mouth and doesn't need water. The taste is very subtle and in no way does it sour due to citrus.
The truth is that I expected it to be more powerful. Maybe it's not enough for championship-level training with long and exhausting workouts. Nevertheless, it gives a sense of freshness and coolness.
I have already mentioned the product's features in another review. As for the taste, it is the most sour in the series. Expected.

I have already mentioned the product's features in another review. As for the taste, I believe it is the most neutral of all. Neither too sour nor too sweet, it makes the gel less thirst-quenching compared to the others in the series.
I use High5 Energy Gel as a training gel because the Maurten I was taking is ridiculously expensive, while it offers exactly the same things. I find its composition just fine, it's like syrup. Precisely because it is quite liquid, it does not require water afterwards. I think it takes effect in about half an hour after taking it, maybe that's its only negative aspect, but again, these things are very subjective. One cannot measure when, how much, and if a dietary supplement works, unless they do blood tests during training.
