What only works really well.
It is universal not to place it with bare hands because rodents can smell it and they don't eat it.
Put on a glove and everything is fine.
Also, it doesn't act immediately, so it helps in exterminating the entire colony as they take it to the nest and eat it all together. Once they defecate, it doesn't smell like a corpse.
