  It is smaller than I expected, which is good because it doesn't take up much space. It works with two small batteries inside to take the measurement and has an on/off switch. The unfortunate thing is that it doesn't measure 18650 batteries. It's a shame because, for example, the much cheaper BT-168D measures them just fine.

  I bought it because, unlike other similar testers, it claims to measure 3V batteries, such as the common CR2032. This is not true. It shows, for example, 2.32V when the multimeter reads 2.95V. Other testers on the market have the exact same behavior, but they do not claim to measure volts. It is accurate for other voltages, although it may take 2-3 seconds for the reading to stabilize.

  I trusted the name of Varta but I was wrong. It takes a long time to stabilize the reading and get an accurate measurement. In my previous (non-branded) one, it showed a stable measurement immediately. I don't know if it was just mine that had this issue. I will get another one and throw this away, I don't think it's worth going through the warranty process for the price I bought it.
