The trick I have found after many years of use is to cut it in HALF (50%-50%) with a pair of scissors and use it twice, half-half. It requires a little attention, but as long as you apply half of the compeed to the area, you solve the herpes problem!!! This TIP works 100% on the white packaging of compeed, on the new ones - dark green - it's as if the company realized that some of us cut them in half and it doesn't work, unless you remove it and cut it afterwards (you will have to use both halves, after carefully removing one half from the scissors)!!!

The most wasted money I have ever spent. The old sticker used to stick effectively. I had an expired one from 2019 and its glue was still holding. The new ones don't stick. So much so that you can hardly tell which side has the glue to apply them. They don't even last a quarter, let alone 12 hours as they claim.
