One of its features is IEEE 802.3x flow control for Full Duplex operation and backpressure for Half Duplex operation, which reduces traffic congestion and allows the TL-SF1024M to operate more reliably.

Its automatic features make installation an easy process, as it is plug & play and requires no configuration. Auto MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables, while Auto-negotiation on each port detects the connection speed of a network device (10, 100 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance.
