Very elegant. I have had it for a year now, and I turn it on for at least 6-7 hours a day. I can't speak about how efficient it is because I have it in a large open space, stuck on me on the 1st floor (500). So, I don't expect the stove to heat up the whole space, although it does the job for me. The cat loves it though. EDIT: It has already gone through 2 winters with over 10 hours of use on the second one. It still holds up.
