Nebulizer in general:

A nebulizer is a device that converts liquid medication into a mist, facilitating penetration into the lungs. The treatment is dispersed in a very targeted manner via mouthpiece or mask and is available to everyone from newborns to the elderly. When dealing with respiratory issues, the alveoli may swell, leading to breathing difficulties. The nebulizer uses a small compressor to deliver air into a chamber where the medication is placed, which when nebulized consists of very small particles capable of traveling to the fine capillaries of the lungs.

Types of nebulizers:

  • Stationary nebulizers that cover 90% of the market and operate on 220V power.
  • Portable nebulizers that use both power and batteries for more autonomy outside the house.
  • Ultrasonic nebulizers that use ultrasound instead of the classic piston and are fully portable.
