The truth is that it produces very good nebulization. But it makes a lot of noise. And I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but the process takes toooo long to complete
Let's start with the basics. It is a noisy nebulizer. It's not the end of the world, but it is noisier than other similar ones I have had, unnecessarily for its power.
Its quality is mediocre. Products of equal value from other companies that I have purchased in the past seemed to be much better from the beginning.
Also, the nebulizer DOES NOT include the Sidestream Plus that Philips advertises on its website. It only comes with the regular sidestream, which is unsuitable for nebulizing many medications. Out of the 4 medications I tried, only one was nebulized correctly, the others foamed or made bubbles without nebulizing. Luckily, I had a spare nebulization container from another manufacturer and it worked correctly for me to do my work urgently.
Trying to contact the company about this and asking for the correct accessory, Philips claimed that it does not represent medical technology products in Greece and referred me to a representative who did not respond. The store (rightfully) did not accept a return because it is a medical tool that had been opened.
Update 2/4: The representative finally contacted me, but only claimed that the Philips website is wrong and refers to a "machine of American specifications." A solution was not found in the end, they put me on hold to speak with Philips about whether they can do something, which is not even the provision of the accessory that should be included according to the website inside the packaging, but the same as what it has, in case it is defective.
In short, they don't even take responsibility for misleading advertising. I can only imagine what would happen if I asked for support due to warranty.
Unfortunately, here Philips only sells its name, in a way that is insulting to its reputation. A completely failed purchase.
Very good nebulizer for its price. It nebulizes the ampoules or plain saline solution in a very good time, 5-8 minutes depending on the quantity. The ideal is not to fill the nebulization chamber with a mixture of more than about 5 ml. The performance is just right so that the child wearing the mask does not get tired due to time, and the device creates a strong mist of the liquid medication for proper treatment.
