  I bought the product for my laptop that didn't have an ethernet port. I connected it and it never got internet, even though I unplugged and plugged it back in many times.   I used this specific adapter on both Windows 10 and 11. For the first year that it worked, it was pretty good, the only downside being that it slightly reduced internet speed and sometimes disconnected on its own. Now it's acting up and the computer doesn't recognize it, so I have to use Wi-Fi. I don't recommend it if you're going to use it for a year and then have to buy another one
