The precision profile design technology operates on the principle of smooth transition between the concentric optical zones. In the central part, the lens is designed for near vision, and towards its edges, it is designed for distance vision. The human eye has the natural ability to use only the zone it needs. This technology also improves image quality and maintains a stable position of the lens on the eye.
The first factor that positively contributes to the good wetting of the lenses is a lubricating substance contained in the solution in which the contact lens is immersed. This results in immediate action after the contact lens is placed in the eye.
The second factor is the combination of two elements – the hydrophilic PEG (Polyethylene glycol) and the moisturizing PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol) – which are contained in the lens material and are released throughout the day with each blink.
