It has a hole, so if there is dirt somewhere, you just sit it on the potty and you don't waste bags or need to wash it afterwards like other portable potties that you would have to wash after use. Additionally, if you are somewhere where you want to use a toilet, it also functions as a reducer! Finally, it has a carrying bag that you can either put in your bag for outings (if it's a bit big) or hang it on the stroller without anyone realizing that you have a potty inside. I don't understand why they consider it small. Our child is 2.5 years old and will definitely use it for the next 2 years. And my older child, who is 4+, can fit on it but he now uses it less frequently. Obviously, at this age, you surpass the potty issue and find other solutions. In places where there is a toilet but you don't want the kids to touch it, you use it as a seat.
In places where there is no toilet, you put a bag and use it as a potty (it has biodegradable ones but in need you can use a regular one).
At home, if you want, you can buy the reusable "cover" and use it as a regular potty.
I recommend it to everyone! (and even as a gift)

Truly the only necessary accessory worth buying when starting toilet training.. It's with us everywhere, on outings, trips.. Smart, portable, easy to open and close. The child feels comfortable everywhere as they know it and without needing any "acrobatics" from anyone when they "come"!
