Unfortunately, XL inks do NOT HAVE LONG DURATION, so I conclude that regular ones have no duration at all. The pages they produce are around 200-250 with normal printing (not best quality) and mainly texts (without printing photos). The company's price for 450-470 pages is not just a utopian number, but I don't know what... Maybe they also count prints with invisible ink :-))
But if you get an Epson printer, you should already know this, because there is no alternative with refilled or compatible commercial inks. The company itself says that if you don't use the original ones, on the one hand, you lose the warranty, on the other hand, the head gets clogged and they don't repair it, as for replacement it is not worth it, you better get a new printer.
Otherwise, XL inks are worth their money compared to regular ones, especially the Multipack package. Of course, under no circumstances should you stock up on inks if you find them at a good price, because they dry up by the expiration date (it should be 1.5 years later, otherwise they are useless) and then you will throw them away. So check the company's counter that opens automatically during printing and when it tells you that it needs to be replaced, schedule your new purchase.
I would expect a longer duration for XL inks.
In no case does it reach the number of pages they advertise, even though I have selected settings such that all my prints are in draft format and never best quality.
Expensive inks, unfortunately
For many years, I have been using Epson inks and I am satisfied with this specific product.
