Amazing, I didn't expect it to be so effective. It cuts a 20/25cm olive tree trunk in 20/25 seconds, the chain type scarpel cuts like a knife, be careful when passing it. The only disadvantage I find is the cost of the sharpening stone chain set, which is 45€, but I think it is durable due to its construction, we will see this in the future. The review is after the first use. I come back. Attention, after cutting dry olive wood AND USING IT FOR A FEW HOURS, the plastic near the chain gear melted. It went to the dealership and was replaced with a new chainsaw because there was no spare part for this specific damage. And in the new one, the same problem. Moreover, with long breaks, in small olive branch wood
It is an excellent tool, I clean a 30-year-old eucalyptus tree every year and it is incredibly powerful. The oil indicator is not very clear, it needs a little more focus, but it is very easy to clean. It is worth the money it costs and you recover the investment very quickly. I have the feeling that it is the best electric saw available.
I am very satisfied. It is powerful, cuts through trunks like butter. It doesn't make much noise and doesn't have exhaust fumes like gasoline-powered ones. The chain with the built-in tension performs very well. At first, its power can be intimidating, but with the automatic brake it has, you feel safe. Due to the construction of the chain, it produces much more sawdust than other saws, which impressed me. Bonus points for the high-quality safety gloves and glasses. Get it
It's worth every penny, the chain is amazing and even when you feel like it's not cutting after a lot of use, you sharpen it in 3 seconds and keep going, you don't leave the job unfinished. It makes fantastic cuts on really large logs, comparable in power to a gasoline-powered one. It does indeed require 16 amber safety glasses. The only negative thing I have to say is that it's not easy to gauge the oil level over time, your eye gets used to it, in the beginning I would open the cap just to be sure. Other than that, it's excellent, I've been testing it for 3 months now, cutting half a ton of firewood every weekend.
It was purchased to replace an older 1600Watt one from Lidel that worked for 14 years as a hobby until the blade support broke. The Oregon took down a 21-year-old 10-meter, 1.60-meter diameter oak tree. The job was done easily as it is soft wood. Superior to the old one, the weight in hand is almost the same but faster and more precise in the cuts. The integrated grinding stone is a great convenience.
Good machine for amateur use. Definitely needs a 16-amp fuse as others have mentioned. It blows a 10-amp fuse. The downside is that it takes a while to drain the oil every time you fill it up, and the oil flow gets clogged with use. There are videos on YouTube showing the problem. You have to remove the chain and bar, clean it, and run it until it drains oil again before putting them back on. Also, it requires an expensive chain that needs to be replaced after about 10 pulls of the lever for 4 seconds
I bought it for cutting firewood for my fireplace. It is noticeably heavier than others in its category, but the advantage is that it sharpens its chain compared to others. The disadvantages, besides its weight, are that you don't have visibility even though it has a white glass, you don't have good visibility of how much oil you have consumed. Compared to gasoline, it cuts as well, if not better.
Amazing machine. I have had a gasoline-powered Husqvarna at my country house for years, but I am tired of constantly taking it for service because I don't use it frequently and it doesn't start easily.
Well, this machine is awesome. It is very powerful, I didn't expect it. Maybe slightly less powerful than the gasoline-powered one, BUT as an electric one, it starts right away, has a continuous flow of power (on off), and you can control it better.
As for its negatives, which someone should definitely pay attention to, it's not its consumption of 2400 watts, but the fact that it requires 15A (the amperes are indicated on the fuses of the panel) to work. This means that the current drops in the sockets with a 10A fuse and the machine doesn't work. The same applies to the TRIMMER, if you want to get a big one. You will need to invest in an expensive one with at least 15 amperes and probably a thick cable.
In any case, it is a purchase that you make once and forget about it.
I found my joy, soon I will go to my neighbor's to cut whatever I find in front of me.
The self-sharpening chain is worth every penny (that's why it's expensive).
I will give it 5 stars because it consumed a lot of my liver due to the gasoline that would clog when I needed it.
I cut a big mulberry tree and tested it on olives.
It is as powerful as a 1.5hp gasoline chainsaw. If you take care of the chain and give it a quick sharpening, it becomes like new.
Negatives
It doesn't have proportional throttle. It's either ON or OFF, which makes it aggressive, abrupt, and dangerous in the hand. However, it has safety features (it immediately stops the chain, so there is no injury to the operator). However, it does not prevent damage to the chain or parts of the chainsaw. It requires a lot of caution until one learns how to handle it.
If you make the mistake and the chain bites something metallic, it can bend, so there goes 30+% of its value (you'll need a new chain and possibly a new bar).
You also need (of course) a balancing weight. It's a minor inconvenience compared to a gasoline chainsaw. You lose a bit of mobility comfort, but it keeps you from gaining momentum and having an accident.
It is not silent (it makes much less noise than gasoline)
Buy it with your eyes closed!!!! It cuts much better than the petrol still I have. It pays for itself in just 15 days of use based on petrol, service, working time (you work excessively faster), etc. It works continuously without heating up at all, without the noise bothering your ears or neighbors, as long as you have electricity, of course.
I have a gasoline-powered one and I wanted an electric one for some light work (that's what electric ones are intended for). Initially, I was impressed by the power (for an electric one) and the result was that I didn't use the gasoline-powered one at all this year. It is sturdy and shows quality. I can't say anything about reliability yet, but I will come back.
It is incredibly powerful. At first, I was afraid to switch from a gasoline-powered to an electric one. But the positive comments convinced me. 3 years warranty, automatic sharpening of the chain, free gloves and glasses, the cherry on top. For those who don't need to cut for hours and do a lot of work, it's perfect. No more gasoline or endless pulling to start it. Besides the oil change, maintenance is zero. It looks sturdy.
Unbelievable chainsaw, cuts better than my Husqvarna gasoline one. It doesn't get stuck anywhere, very effortless!!!! I highly recommend it without hesitation!!!!
