The TM15 is designed for starting internal combustion engines such as cars, motorcycles, boats, etc.

It features a built-in handy LED flashlight which will provide you with powerful lighting when you need to use it in low visibility conditions.

What does it mean that the TM15 is a battery starter?

A jump starter is used to start a vehicle when its battery is depleted or weak. If the battery, for example, of the car does not have enough power to start the engine, the jump starter provides the necessary energy to start it.

Therefore, it cannot be used as a battery charger as it has only a starting function.

Firstly, one could describe the product by giving it the title "VFM".

The packaging I purchased includes everything mentioned in the description. It allows you to charge mobile phones, computers, and personally, I even used it to charge an electric scooter.

The car, a WV Passat 1.4 model 2010, had been immobilized for 8 months and even the electric lock was not working. While the previous starter, worth 90€, required activating the Extra Booster to provide voltage in a similar situation, this one did it instantly with a simple process.

Instructions for first-time users:

1) As soon as you open the box, you will find a wall charger and you will connect it to make a full charge. Throughout the charging process, the starter should be turned off in the OFF position.

2) After the charging is complete and you go to the car, you will first connect ONLY the clamps to the corresponding positions of the battery. The red clamp to the + and the black clamp to the -.

Then, you will connect the double contact to the starter by opening the lid next to the point that says ON-OFF.

Once you have completed the steps, you will activate the starter by turning it towards the ON position. You will see the indicator light on, and then you can enter the car to start it.

3) After providing the appropriate voltage and starting the car, you turn the starter to the OFF position, remove the cable from the device, and finally remove the clamps carefully.

If it is nighttime and you need a flashlight, press the central button for 2 seconds and the flashlight will turn on. To turn it off, continuously press the button until it closes.

To charge a computer or an electric scooter, plug in the corresponding connectors, check the voltage displayed on the respective device, and hold the central button for more than 3 seconds to switch the selection to the desired voltage.

It doesn't charge at all, no matter how many days I charge it. In no case is it 16800mAh. It has 3 batteries like in the photo, so in total how much does it make? 9900mAh. So half of what they claim. Also, each battery is 3.7v, total 11.1v. This doesn't bother us of course. I can't measure the Amps because it broke and that's why I opened it to see what batteries it takes, after a while one of the 3 batteries swelled. Besides the fact that it is not safe to charge it again after the battery has swollen, now as soon as I charge it and it's full, as soon as I unplug it, it immediately drains.

I received the starter yesterday, I charged it for about 3 hours and the 4 LED lights turned on. I connected my phone to charge it, but it didn't reach 100% and the 1 LED was blinking. It didn't have enough power to charge my phone, let alone the car battery. If I see the same issue again, I will ask for a replacement. I will update.

This specific product, with a purchase price of 25 euros, offers much more than excellent value for money as a car battery starter. Especially considering that similar products from well-known manufacturers have triple or quadruple the price (just the plastic carrying case of one of these costs at least 30 euros...). Following the usage instructions closely regarding the connection and disconnection process with the vehicle's battery (very important to avoid damage), it has proven to be completely effective so far in two cases. Specifically, it started a BMW 316 and a Volvo S40 1.6. In fact, in the case of the Volvo, the battery was so drained that the central locking didn't work, and not even the warning lights on the dashboard lit up.... If I had to mention something negative about the product, it would be that: a. As a power bank, its battery capacity definitely does not reach the 16800mAh stated in its specifications. After several charges of various devices (mobile phones and other power banks), I estimate that its capacity is at most 5,000 to 6,000 mAh. However, I don't think anyone would buy this device primarily to use it as a power bank. Otherwise, they should buy a classic power bank. b. The size of the plastic case - briefcase barely accommodates the number of cables, adapters, chargers, etc., that accompany it. However, as a case, it is of quite good quality.

12/18/22 update: It started an Opel Zafira 1.8, which had no warning lights on the dashboard. In fact, it started the vehicle the next day without an intermediate charge of the device.

1/6/25 update: The device has already been in my possession for more than 3 years, which means something for the expected drop in battery performance. Nevertheless, it started an Opel Agila 1.2, whose battery was so drained (measured with a multimeter at 7 V) that the central locking didn't work, and not even the warning lights on the dashboard lit up, nor the Radio CD.

I used it on a 1200cc motorcycle. The battery was completely drained. Under normal conditions, the battery indicator on the motorcycle is 13V. Below 12.5V, it is difficult to start as it drains the battery with the sparks and dies. With this specific starter, it showed 11.7V but it held for a long time and started with several sparks. For a 25 euro starter, I consider it excellent value for money. For a more powerful starter, obviously, we go for double the cost.

Very good and really does the job it promises. I happen to work in a parking lot and when I got it to try it out, I put a 1400cc passenger car and a 2000cc Citroen van in front of it, and even twice without being charged in between and while the batteries were completely empty... they didn't even have enough power for the dashboard lights (they hadn't moved for months). After two days and even though I had charged it, it also started a Mercedes ML 3500cc. I didn't expect that. And as a power bank, it's very good, lightweight and convenient. It has a flashlight, charging plugs for other devices, and a car charger. It's worth its money... I recommend it.

I bought this product. The store claims that it has a battery capacity of 16800mAh, but the packaging states that it is 688000mAh. When I charged it from completely discharged, it charged at 12 volts with 3.3A, and then it gave me 4700mAh at 5 volts USB. The numbers speak for themselves, these are definitely not the advertised amperes. The other features mentioned are present and functional, and I hope it can start the car if needed (Alfa Romeo 1600cc). Initially, I will say that it has adapters for charging laptops and mobile smartphones, as well as powering a router or TV box!

The starter is at 200A with a peak current of 300A, somewhere around there I calculate it, it has a large battery and definitely seems to withstand the test of time. At first, it seemed funny to me when I saw the price and the external quality, which is not the best, but don't laugh, this tool put forward 1,500 cubic A150!!! And then the Toyota Corolla VVTI 1,400!!! And I charged my phone and turned on the flashlight for quite some time in the basement, and all this with one charge.
