  I bought two lamps because I wanted to use them with batteries for my jewelry counter. In the end, I only used one for this reason. We cut the cables and connected them to alligator clips, and then to a 12v battery. It works perfectly fine with the corresponding bulb. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

  The other lamp that I didn't use for my counter, I ended up keeping it for my house, and there I can't say that I am very satisfied. As a table lamp (meaning to clamp onto the table and be at the same level, not higher), it is not suitable because it blinds you instead of illuminating you.

  Then I took it to the bed for reading, etc. I liked it there because I could clamp it to the headboard of the bed and it illuminated perfectly fine without bothering me. However, the observation I have to make in this case is that it can't really stand in a vertical position because it takes the weight and falls. I saw that someone else mentioned this in the comments.

  In conclusion, it's fine for its price. It does the job for my counter and I am fully satisfied. The other one was my mistake for buying two, and it doesn't suit the purpose I want it for in my house.
