Overrated game, where you classically die dozens of times and end up doing the same things for hours on end.
If you have time for killing, this is your game..
Very good graphics, sound, and music are the positives of the game.
I have played all the souls games and I can say that this game is epic. 1 Excellent story, 2 this game has one of the best soundtracks in boss fights, 3 pretty good graphics, 4 very nice bosses with their own back story each, 5 very nice DLC, 6 amazing areas, large, well-crafted and many options to explore. Finally, I want to emphasize that it is an extremely difficult game and you will need time to dedicate to it. But I believe that if you give it a chance, you will love it, even its difficulty. That's it, I hope I helped you, I recommend it 1000%
I have tried everything. I recently got Red Dead Redemption 2, played for about an hour, and then saw a deal on the Store for Dark Souls 3. I vaguely remembered reading something about it somewhere. I looked at a few reviews here again and they were saying "the best game ever" and so on...
I haven't put it down! I'm hooked! Very difficult, frustrating at the beginning, but slowly becoming an absolute addiction!
The story may not make much sense for those starting with 3, I didn't fully understand what's going on, but I guess it will become clear in the end.
It's one of the best games I've ever played, maybe even the best!
I will definitely get Dark Souls: Remastered as well.
Truly the best game along with Bloodborne!!
I got it in 2016 as soon as it came out and I haven't gotten bored of it at all in the past 5 years.
It's definitely worth the money and more.
Okay, what can you say about this game ... amazing ... an epic ... out of the other two games in the Dark Souls series, 3 is my personal favorite ... it offers you everything ... joy, frustration, excitement, and anxiety from the age of 18, but the games from From Software are not for everyone ... I don't know if I agree with a guy who says it's not for everyone, but on the other hand, everyone plays games the way they enjoy them ... finally, I have to say that the DLCs were amazing too! Now let's see Elden Ring ... Git Gud
It's not for all players, very difficult without the option to change the difficulty. Those who want to have fun and not be disappointed for the money they spent, stay away. I managed to pass the first boss by luck on the third try. If I dedicate myself, I will definitely learn it at some point, but I want to enjoy the few hours I have to play and not stress about how to kill an opponent. ONLY for HARDCORE players!!! Nevertheless, it seems to be a very nice game in terms of sound and graphics, although it has quite a bit of stuttering and frame drops on the PS4 slim. But I want to have fun and not lose my nerves.
An epic game that everyone should play. The battles are epic, the graphics are flawless, and the story is fantastic. It is challenging but also addictive. If you play it without online support like me, you will find many bosses difficult. By defeating all the bosses and the amazing DLCs that I consider unbeatable (yes, even Midir), it can be accomplished with patience and perseverance. Play it
I haven't finished it yet, but the game is very good. Difficult as it should be. I don't have an opinion on the multiplayer.
The epic conclusion of the excellent trilogy. A game from devs who care about their fans and constantly satisfy them. The gameplay is the best of the trilogy because it borrows elements from Bloodborne and transforms them to fit into Dark Souls. The graphics are perfect, as well as the bosses. If someone wants to start the trilogy, I recommend starting from here as it is the most "welcoming" because it has an easy early game and many bonfires. The only negative is that sometimes the levels are simplistic compared to the previous ones.
Dark Souls 3 could be described as a love letter and a great way to close this incredible trilogy. The only negative thing I can think of is the excessive number of bonfires, which in my opinion was done to allow not-so-hardcore players to make greater progress and make the game a bit easier.
This game is the first souls game I have played... And I loved it.
I finished it 4 times, killing all the bosses, and I still haven't gotten bored of it.
The game has a lot of things to do, like collecting spells, rings, etc.
My first playthrough was quite difficult, but after the second playthrough, it was clearly easier due to the level I was at and the experience I already had.
The most difficult bosses in my opinion are Pontiff Sulyvahn and the Nameless King, and it took me about three hours to kill them.
It is a game with epic bosses, epic music, epic landscapes, and overall the game is PERFECT!
I believe that I will remember this game forever!
And this, like the previous souls of the series, is a perfect series. Dark Souls is my favorite game series.... It is true that it is the easiest souls of the series, but it is one of the best in the series. The bosses are absolutely amazing, especially the King Nemelss, who is one of the most challenging bosses in the game!!! The only negative thing I found is that in some bosses, the camera can be a bit off, but that won't take away from its 10/10 rating
Incredible game. My favorite so far. My first one from FROMSOFTWARE. Tremendous gameplay in a deep and beautiful environment. 100% the main game and 100% both DLCs. To be honest, the first DLC was nice, the second one didn't excite me, but it is the conclusion of this trilogy so I believe it's worth it. For those who say it's difficult, that's the purpose, because the satisfaction you get when you pass an area that took you so many hours is tremendous. I spent 100+ hours that I don't regret for a moment. It also has crazy replayability. What else could one want in a game!
No matter how many times I saw "You died" on my TV, just as many times I got stubborn and kept going. Result: NG+15 and I still haven't gotten tired of this incredible, "sick" game!
I have killed all the bosses 14 times, collected all the armors, all the shields, all the weapons that exist (and believe me, there are many), I have upgraded hundreds of them, and there is always something that motivates me to pick up the controller again and annihilate all the miserable creatures that will come across my path.
I bought Dark Souls 3 after renting it for a year and after practicing with Bloodborne... Where we left off, at the first boss... On my second attempt, with the pyromancer, I defeated the knight, and a wave of excitement overwhelmed me... I went crazy and couldn't stop smiling.
The game is not the same if you haven't played the previous ones to understand how it works; you will struggle a lot to finish it without a guide. I found a step-by-step guide.
What can I say about the music? It gave me chills and raised my heartbeat with every boss. I played for over two months, around 120 hours, and reached level 130 to complete everything, with great difficulty.
* Now I want to get the other ones too, I started a bit backwards, to be honest...
If you like RPGs like The Witcher, don't get it because it has a different type from those. The first time you play it, the difficulty is much higher than the second or third time you will definitely finish it again. FROMSOFTWARE has made another awesome game that is the best in the series and it is wrong to compare it to Bloodborne, which, however, only resembles it in difficulty and a little in gameplay.
I would give it 5 out of 5 if it wasn't so difficult even in the easy mode. The game is worth it!!!!!! And for those who have patience, I give it 5 out of 5. GET IT!!!!
Come on now, soon we will forget the definition of fun. The game mechanics are indeed fair, but the distribution of difficulty in the various levels lacks balance and makes it clearly unfair, especially for those who haven't played the previous title in the series. The technical aspect is excellent, unquestionably an AAA title, I just believe it is aimed at people who have a more peculiar perception of the term fun, and I do not recommend it to the average person who is willing to spend 50 euros to enjoy their time... they should spend it somewhere else. Personally, I was very dissatisfied.
Perfect soundtrack
Perfect graphics
The story is perfect, it lasts around 90 hours. It's very difficult, but you shouldn't be afraid to get it because you quickly learn the buttons and you will quickly learn how to use many weapons. You won't get bored when you defeat a boss, the feeling you experience is something else, very satisfying.
The bosses are perfect and quite challenging, around 19 of them. You must get it, it's perfect
A great game, very difficult... Better not buy it if you don't want to die every three seconds. You can't change its difficulty, it will always be extremely difficult (I'm not useless at games).
Imagine that it is even the easiest game in the trilogy...
Words are unnecessary, a game for true gamers with the necessary difficulty. A game that rewards you if you have patience and impresses you in the end. As for its collector's edition, it is special and full. A game whose value after ten years will be a milestone in the discussion of gaming. DON'T MISS IT
Good game, difficult and thank you, but after a while it gets boring, at least for me. It's also a matter of taste, it didn't really captivate me. I really liked its story and its bosses, each one of them would bring you to your knees, especially for someone who hasn't played soul games like me. It's worth adding to your collection if you enjoy these types of games.
"Souls are thought, Bloodborne is instinct." A phrase of a good friend that reflects the truth about games of this kind. Perhaps the best Souls game to date, but the 5 stars easily go to the previous ones in the series. Personally, I would recommend not using help from NPCs, etc. to defeat a boss. The satisfaction is much greater when you defeat them on your own!! Even if you struggle a lot and keep losing, see it as a learning experience and don't try to defeat a boss immediately, but study their attacks (variety, range, timing) and come back later more aware and prepared! If you dedicate time to it and play with patience and calmness (if for some reason you are tired or frustrated, don't even touch it), and show it the proper respect, you will love it to levels of obsession!!
I can't pass the first bossaki. It freezes too much and I can't play. My computer runs it much better, but still I can't pass the boss. Useless game. Waste of money I spent twice.
Positive
Impressive visual and audio quality
Excellent gameplay with improved mechanics
Great duration and replayability value
Negative
Faulty PC version
The best game of this generation along with its cousin, Bloodborne.
