Second time I am placing them, this says a lot I believe. I am very satisfied, I have been using them for 4 years and the car does not slip at all, even though I drive relatively few kilometers... I hope the same model will be available in 4 years from now, I would buy them again!
Installation on a 2001 model, without anti-spin, without ABS, good response, little noise, good braking response, proper grip at high speeds for testing.
The car stays on course, with proper driving behavior, has good grip and quiet rolling.
At some points it spins, but with poorly paved roads, what else can you expect.
I have driven 6000 km so far and I am satisfied. I will buy them again.
After 18,000 km, the tires still have grip even on wet asphalt, they are quiet when rolling. I have done 32,000 km and the tires still have good grip with reasonable use and speed. They have received internal patches twice from screw absorption on the road surface. After repair, they did not show any negative signs in their behavior.
In terms of consumption, they are economical compared to the previous sets of tires I had on this particular car.
They have done about 40,000 km in 6.5 years on a Hyundai Accent 1.3 on an island. The tread wear was uniform and they were never changed front to back. They never skidded or slipped, even in their last stages. Soft tires, comfortable even after six years. I would say they are average to good for sport driving (wide side good grip but soft sides). They inspire confidence even when worn as they appear in the picture, something I rarely encounter in a tire.
They were replaced with Hankook Kinergy Eco2 K435, which are slightly harder and cheaper, 30 euros for a set of 4.
Highly recommended. I would put them on again.

In Ibiza 1600 cc with 100HP and well-maintained with proper suspensions, etc:
Generally, these tires have a hard rubber compound. They don't wear out quickly, but with the usual kilometers we drive, we will change them before they wear out due to age in 3-4 years.
So the above advantage ceases to be an advantage....
In dry conditions, they perform well, above average.
However, they take a while to warm up.
When they are cold, on shiny asphalt (dry), they slip on straight lines with sudden acceleration only...
When they warm up with the exact same use, the problems are greatly reduced, but they still exist.
No comparison to the Continental premium contact 5 I had before.
In wet conditions, it requires caution, especially when it's cold.
I would never put them on again. Generally, I would never put on a tire with a rating of B or lower in wet conditions.
Inferior in all aspects compared to the Continental premium contact 5, except perhaps for the steering feel at high speeds or sudden turns due to the harder sidewalls that Dunlop has.
Five stars overall, because it is 100% value for money. Compared to well-known brands that cost a little more in this type of tire, it is superior. Before making a purchase, one should take the trouble to compare noise levels, fuel consumption, etc. And because I have personally tried it on my Polo for a year, I highly recommend buying it without hesitation.
P.S: The wear is very normal, considering driving style as well.
I have them for two years and 45,000 km. They are very nice tires, quiet with good grip. Their price is good and even in sudden braking they will respond. I would like them to last for a few more kilometers
Economical and reliable choice for every driving style.
Excellent response in sharp turns (avoidance).
