Personally, I do not understand the very negative rating of this particular product. I was given this lock when I bought my motorcycle. It was used, but in good condition. After about 8 months, the alarm got stuck and eventually stopped working. However, I continued to use it, unsure if it was still reliable. Finally, in October, I had trouble taking it off and putting it on, and I discovered that someone had tried to tamper with it using something like a crowbar. They had managed to open it slightly and bend the lock, but not enough to fully open it (see the photo I have uploaded). So for me, it was worth buying it again, brand new. In fact, we managed to straighten the damaged one, and now I have it as an extra lock for the other wheel when needed.

  It is quite good for its price. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because once, it got blocked and the alarm went off randomly. This happened after heavy rain (not during). However, I dried it, changed the battery, and everything was fine! I didn't have any problems in other rains!

  The alarm is overly sensitive, resulting in it going off at the slightest touch (it even went off with raindrops). I got frustrated and took out the batteries. After about a month, the iron that "came out" to lock it got bent, making it useless. And I had bought it for 20 euros. The most wasted money I have ever spent.

  First, it requires special batteries. It doesn't take regular AA batteries like they told me at the store. Second, after a while, it becomes difficult to unlock due to the dust and dirt it collects. The sound quality is average, as well as the sensitivity.

  For the 10.50€ that I bought it, I can say that it's worth it. At first glance, it gives the impression of being cheap... of course, I don't know how easily it can be unlocked. The alarm is quite loud, though, because I tested it in my house first, I was able to mute the sound relatively easily by touching it against my bed mattress, so if someone does the same somewhere further away, where it's likely parked, the bike will have enough time to go unnoticed. However, it can also be used as a simple lock. It doesn't have that cable that I see in other locks that ties to the handlebars. I'm mentioning this because I thought it had it, I probably bought it hastily. I believe that with 15-20 euros more, you can find something much better, and let's face it, for the safety of the bike, it's worth going for something a little more expensive. I might buy a better one.

  Now, 2 months later, the alarm broke. When I activate it, it gets stuck and makes a continuous sound. I opened the lock, cleaned it, changed the batteries, but nothing. So, I don't recommend it to anyone, I only use it as a lock until I get a new one. I'm changing the rating to 1 star out of the 4 I had before.

  The best for its money. Cheap and at the same time quality solution for motorcycle security. Strong, sturdy and reliable lock with easy adaptation to the disc plate. Activates easily with a press. The sensor is very good and triggers with the shaking (vibration) of the motorcycle, but not as easily as alarms. The sound is quite loud and can be heard from a distance, while it stops after a while, unless the motorcycle continues to shake. It works with 3 small, round batteries that last a long time and can be easily replaced by unscrewing 2-3 screws. A value for money choice for someone who wants both disc plate lock and alarm for their motorcycle.
