Makita quality.
However, I would prefer the other one with the handle because:
The on/off switch is very uncomfortable.
It makes it difficult for me to work with one hand because I can't reach the switch to turn it off and also hold it properly.
Therefore, if I'm holding a piece of wood steady with one hand or don't have the other hand free, it's difficult to turn it off.
I believe that although it has two switches to make it safer to use, it is actually less safe because you don't have direct control of the operation with the hand that is holding it. So be careful with the free hand when you try to turn it off because the switch is not very far from the blade. Under no circumstances should you lift the saw before turning it off because it may jump.
I don't know if this type of saw is for a specific use, but for my work (woodworking), it didn't suit me at all.
This has annoyed me quite a bit and I would give it 3 stars, but because it cuts very nicely, the price is good compared to the quality, and it's a Makita (warranty), I will give it 4 stars.
