This book includes recorded narrations of Elder Porphyrios about his life.

Most of them were made by the Elder to a small group of listeners, with his knowledge that they were being recorded. They are spaced out over a considerable period of time. Some were made in his cell at the Hermitage in Milesi. Others were made in various places and times, or even inside a moving car.
