  The radio appears to be good quality. Puts out a true 10 watts on VHF, a little less on UHF. Cross band feature works well. According to YT tests, no spurious emissions. Very good for a radio in this price catagory. Display is readable even in sunny conditions (this cannot be said for radios with color displays). TYT manufacturer support sucks, as in zero.

  I am very satisfied, and that's why I bought a second one. For its price, it is decent with very good sound quality and configuration, and very good range for handheld use. It doesn't have a power of 10 watts, but around 7 watts depending on the band and frequency of transmission. The battery has a very good duration, while the menus are similar to Baofeng's but slightly better. It has cross band capability, which is rarely needed, and can only be unlocked through Windows software. As a scanner, it is extremely slow, as most Chinese radios are. Finally, it can be connected to the car's cigarette lighter with a special adapter, so as not to drain its battery.

  It has the same reception as a genuine Baofeng UV5R... in transmission, I haven't seen significant differences from the aforementioned Baofeng... the buttons are slow to press... the only positive thing for me is its battery that lasts quite a long time... I believe that with the same amount of money, you can get a much better device. Also, it doesn't open on all the repeaters...

  Very good machine with many functions, worth the money. I don't know if it reaches 10 watts, but its range is very good. The big advantage is the battery life, you forget to charge it. I wonder why big companies with expensive machines don't produce such batteries.

  I use it professionally, full instructions in Greek, impeccable and very helpful service, very good quality plastics, a bit awkward in terms of size but it also has a hands-free headset in the package with a convenient PTT button (it also has a larger antenna in the package but I don't find a reason to use it), the battery lasts endlessly for 4 to 5 hours, it has a cross band repeater, radio, etc., the biggest advantage is the 10 watts in transmission when most are 5 watts, while everyone can hear someone from a higher point, the problem is in transmitting and being heard by that person or in a densely populated area, forest or mountain with strange topography, etc. (it has put me in a difficult situation many times). I compare it to the TYT TH-UVF8 that I have used and the difference is noticeable.
